#5: "I'll Protect You" - (Malum)

"Calum, i can't do it anymore."

"Michael, it's alright. I know it geta a bit much sometimes, but you got this. We got this."

Michael smiled, facing his kiwi best friend. He loved this about Calum, how you could tell the boy anything and he'd listen, and help in any way he could. Or if you just wanted him to listen, he would. He was respectful of people's wishes and was always there for someone. Especially Michael.

Calum smiled back, looking away and biting his lip for a moment before patting Michael on the back, getting up swiftly. "I'm gonna go to the store. Wanna come?" Michael got up too and thought for a moment, biting his own lip in thought. The troubled look on his face brought Calum to worry a bit, reassuring the blonde. "I'll protect you. I promise you won't get hurt."

This almost got Michael, but not quite. Calum couldn't help the words they said. He couldn't help the fact that the words still hurt, and that Michael thought about them constantly, knowing how true their hurtful words were.

Taking Michael's chin between his pointer finger and thumb, the kiwi boy forced the blonde to look at him. He placed a light kiss on the boys lips, which Michael returned. When they pulled away Calum smiled shyly, kissing Michaels cheek sweetly before speaking. "I'll protect you. You have nothing to worry about, you're perfect." And with those words, they were on their way to the shops, Calum's hand snaked around Michael's waist, fighting back at anyone who dared try and insult and/or hurt Michael.
