__HAJOON

"What do you mean 'maybe I'm not supposed to remember' huh? What the fuck does that mean?" I say, raising my voice a little. "Well this is, or looks likes, a hospital room. It may be a place of your memories, but not something for you to remember. Something that happened in the past, long ago..." Jaehyeong trails off, brushing his fingertips against the dying petals of the white roses on the bedside table. "Jaehyeong, you know something, don't you?" I say, grabbing his wrist. He looks up at me, staring into my eyes. "Maybe I do, Hajoon. Maybe I do." He says, pulling his wrist away and walking away from me, to the other side of the room. "Jaehyeong, you're not leaving this place for a long time so stop running away from your problems and explain this shit. What the fuck do you know. Huh?" I say, leaning against the hospital bed. I raise my eyebrow at him, waiting for his answer. "Look, Hajoon, what I'm gonna say is either going to help this stuff or fuck your mind up, so don't blame me if you end up traumatised from this." He says seriously. I look at him, unfazed. "You make it sound like I'm not fucked yo already. Now stop with these warnings and explain this 'room from the past' will you?" He sighs, tracing his fingers along the cracks in the mirror on the wall.

"Let's just say, you finally cracked... After all this time, you gave into all the shit in your life and cracked. When we were 15 or so, you... You told me about Dojoon, you told me how much you missed him, you told me about the last day you saw him, and you... You told me about how much you blamed yourself for his disappearance. That's when you cracked... I still remember the look in your eyes, the look of heartbreak and sadness... But, you see, when you gave in, a lot more than just your heart gave in. And when I say 'a lot more' I mean you had to be sent to the hospital. Hence, this room. You're mind gave in, and all you would talk about was Dojoon and your family, and all the guilt you bottled up inside you. And every time I came to visit you, I saw a bouquet of white roses beside you, just like this one. And when I asked who came them to you, you'd say, 'I don't remember. I don't remember anything anymore.' and you'd fall asleep. And, Hajoon, you have no idea how hard it was to see you like that. How hard it was to watch you blame yourself for something that wasn't your fault. And I-" I walked over to Jaehyeong and enveloped him in a big hug. He began crying into my shoulder as I felt tear fall from my own eyes. "It's ok, Jaehyeong. I'm fine now, aren't I? I'm perfectly fine so you don't have to worry anymore. I'm right here." I said as I pat his back lightly. Eventually he calmed down and controlled his breathing. "I'm sorry for not telling you. You have no idea how hard it was to keep that secret. But look at us now, in the middle of an alternate universe, looking for your true love while crying our eyes out over the craziest shit ever." He laughed and hugged me once again after I apologised for exploding on him.

"I can't believe that I don't remember this at all. But, what I'm kinda interested in is, who gave those roses?" I say, walking over to the dying flowers. "That, I have no idea. You always said you didn't remember so, I have no clue. But I bet it has something to do with all this." I nod in agreement and carefully lift up the flowers, examining it carefully. As I turn it around, something falls from deep within the bundle of flowers. I signal Jaehyeong over and I pick up what seemed to be a piece of card from the floor. "Look at this." I show the card the Jaehyeong, who flips it around. "Writing... Hajoon, there's writing!" He jumps in excitement. I grab the card and pull in close to my face,"There is writing! Ssshhhhh! Lemme read it!" I say, shutting him up. "Third... Door on... The... Left. THIRD DOOR ON THE LEFT! JAEHYEONG WE GOTTA GO TO THE THIRD DOOR ON THE LEFT! HUREY UP--" Jaehyeong slapped his hand over my mouth and took the card from my hand. I playfully glared at him and 'hmmpphh'-ed. "It does say 'third door on the left' OooOoooOoooHhhHhhh-" I yanked his hand off my mouth, "sHut uP! We have to check the other doors too!" We walk out into the hallway. There were three doors on each side, two of which we had been in.

"You check those two doors on the right, I'll check the second on of the left!" Jaehyeong shouts as we ran down the hallway. I yell an approval and run down to the second door on the right side of the hallway while Jaehyeong goes to the second one on the left. "Be careful, ok! We don't know what's behind these doors!" I warn him as we simultaneously pull open the doors. "Holy fuc-" I shout as I grip onto the doorframe. On the other side of the door was a deep hole leading to a pit of darkness. I could feel myself being sucked in until I slammed the door shut. "I officially hate overly sized hikes in the ground." I breathe out. "Oh my frackalacking God! Hajoon, help me over here!" I hear Jaehyeong yell. I turn to see him fighting of one of those dead tree branches, which was trying to wrap itself around his arms. "I told you to be careful!" I say as I take off my shoe and smack the tree branch with it. It immediately coils away and Jaehyeong slams the door shut. "Really? Your shoe?" He questions. "Hey, at least it worked! I took that tree thingy down Asian style~~" I cheer as we walk over to the last door on the right.

"Wanna open it together?"
"I just saved your ass from a zombie tree branch and you expect me to open this thing by myself??"
"Ok, calm door Mrs Park!"
"Excuse me-"

And there stood the last door we had to open before we figure out what lies behind the third door on the left.

(a/n) hAi kiDs (totally not creepy) so chapter 11 (2/2) came out early yaAaaAaYyy. Kinda angsty but I wanted a plot twist and that was the third thing that came to my mind (don't question it the first and second were horrible). Did you like it?
