__DOJOON
My "father" left the room, throwing the letters and drawings in my face, ordering me to go back to the basement. The basement was the only place in the house I was allowed to stay in without supervision, since in his eyes, their was no way to escape, so he pretty much never comes down here. I rush down as quickly as I can, carrying down all the papers from upstairs. "At least he didn't find the rest." I mutter under my breath as I drag a small cardboard box out from under my bed. There was much more than just pictures and unsent letters. I kept possessions I had with me the day he abducted me, which included a pocket-sized compass for direction. Hajoon gave it to me long before I "disappeared" and ever since I kept it on me. We always joked at how the needle always pointed towards Hajoon, no matter where he went.
Now that I'm here, I consider it a way to escape. We never figured out why it always directed towards Hajoon, but now that I think about it, I could use it to find him again. Or maybe he had something on him the attracted the compass to him, something he kept on him all the time.
No matter what caused it, it had to be of use. It had to be a way to find Hajoon again. A way he could find me.
A way I could leave my father once and for all.
(a/n) I'm sorry this is so short. I'll try to update regularly again~
