Tila nasave ako ni Sophia because right about when Mama arrived, Sophia and Eileen walked in. Eileen smiled at Marionne at si Marionne naman ay sinalubong ng isang masuyong halik si Eileen bago nya ito ipinakilala kay Mama.
"Mamita Carmina, this is my girlfriend Eileen Ong. Eils, si Mamita Carmina." Mama smiled at Eileen and Yoyon at pinaunlakan ang pagmamano ni Eils kay Mama.
"Pleased to meet you po, Tita." Eileen said.
Sophia approached the table and kissed Mama on the cheek.
"Hello po Mama Carmina." Sophia said.
"Mom, is it okay if Eils and I go to the bathroom?" Yoyon asked her mother.
"Yes, you kids may go, but be back soon, mag-oorder na tayo ng pagkain."
"Okay. Excuse us please Ma, Mamita and Mommy." Eileen and Yoyon chorused.
We all nodded to them as Sophia sat comfortably with me and Mama.
"So paanong nangyari na may anak na kayo?" Mama asked us.
I looked at Sophia wearily and sighed.
"Ganito po kasi Mama, I got my eggs frozen prior to us getting separated. Noong time na nalaman ni Sophia na may babae akong iba, she was pregnant during that time. A few weeks pregnant to be exact. She has undergone IVF Treatments with out my knowledge ma kaya si Marionne ay akin." I told Mama.
"Opo, Marionne is our daughter. I didn't tell her until Marionne was five." Sophia interjected.
Mama was teary eyed and reached for Sophia's hand.
"I am sorry for causing you so much trouble hija. If it wasn't for my indiscretions, Amara would have been fine, hindi sana nya nagawa ang lahat ng ginawa nya noon." Mama said to Sophia tearfully.
"Naku ma, ok lang ho yun. Wala na ho. Ayos na kami ni Amara. We've just gotten back together." Sophia smiled gently at Mama.
"But didn't you guys had your wedding annulled?" She asked us.
"Yes Mama, we can remarry naman po eh." I said to her.
Mama sighed and giggled at us.
"You two are really stronger than any earth quake." Mama said laughing.
Yoyon and Eils were back from the rest room. Nakipagkwentuhan si Yoyon kay Mama, Mama thankfully answered every question Yoyon had and I thank Yoyon because she never asked her about what she did. She asked more of about me when I was growing up, to which mama answered her and often shared anecdotes of things I did and said. Yoyon laughed heartily at those anecdotes.
"Ma, can we invite you to spend the holidays with us at Arden Hotel?" I asked her.
Mama hesitated for a bit before she asked me.
"Is your father going to be there?" She asked me.
"No, he's in Japan and will be back here on January 2." I answered her.
"Okay then. I'll be there." She said smiling.
"And Eileen, I like you hija. Please take care of my Grand daughter ha?" Mama said to Eileen.
"Syempre po Tita, I will take care of Yoyon." Eils smiled at Mama.
"Call me Mamita. Just like how Marionne calls me." Mama said to Eils.
"Ok po Mamita." Eils smiled at Mama.
"Yan, maige." Mama said and smiled as she ate her meal.
We had a whole Roasted Chicken, Shrimp Alfredo Pasta, Pepperoni Pizza and Slices of Mango Cake and Chocolate Cake. After lunch, we decided to let Mama and Marionne catch up and bond. Nagpresinta si Marionne na samahan ang Mamita Carmina nya para kuhain ang mga gamit nito sa bahay. Si Eileen naman is off to her family, because she needed to attend to their Christmas outreach in Binondo.
