In the middle of the brain tumor surgery, Sir Lucas had a massive heart attack collapsing on the floor. Apparently, an artery in his heart had a blood clot causing it to burst. While the vein in his brain also exploded causing him to be brain-dead as death swept up his spirit. When Sir Lucas was sent to the hospital's morgue, Alfonso prepared himself to deliver the heartbreaking news to his friend's family especially his only daughter, Kina.

Alfonso arrived at the Williams' household. He gathered all his courage and knocked on the door. Helena greeted him surprisingly.

'Alfonso? What brings you here?' She asked.

Meanwhile, Lacey and Elena were busy cleaning the room. Her daughters focused on playing their instruments, the violin and cello until they paused noticing his presence.

'Madam, Sir Lucas died while performing a brain tumor surgery,' Alfonso explained.

'Died?' Helena was shocked as tears left her eyes.

Sir Lucas was the only man in her life that truly showed her love and took care of her like a queen out of all the men she was married too who abused her violently.

Alfonso nodded and added, 'He asked me to deliver his will to Ms Kina' and handed the sealed envelope to her. 'Can you please give it to her, Helena? I can't stand to see her cry.'

Helena was about to answer when Kina entered the room. She found Alfonso handing a letter to her step mother and sensed the gloomy atmosphere in the place. As she noticed Elena, Lacey and her step sisters, Pearl and Cassandra were all looking back at her.

'What is going on?' Kina asked.

Her voice echoed the room as Helena and Alfonso faced her sorrowfully.

'Ms Kina?' Alfonso gulped tears flowing down his face.

Kina furrowed her eyebrows and replied, 'Alfonso, what's the matter? Where is father?'

'He's pass on, my dear,' Helena explained approaching her while wiping away her tears.

Kina stood still in horror shaking her head, 'No! No! No! This can't be?' and thought loud, 'But he promise me he'll come back for our fencing rematch.'

'I'm afraid it's true, Ms Kina. My condolences to your entire family, my dear,' Alfonso said watching her cry with an emotionless face.

Helena intervened, 'Thank you, Alfonso.'

Kina clenched her fists and forced a smile, 'May God comfort your heart, Sir Alfonso. I'm sure delivering this news was very painful for you as well.'

'It was, my dear. I'll forever cherish my memories of your father. Take care of yourself and your family, Ms Kina,' Alfonso responded before facing Helena and the women. 'I'll be on my way now, ladies, goodnight,' Alfonso tipped his hat and the left.

Kina stared at the letter in Helena's hand, 'Is that a letter from my father?'

'Yes darling but it's for me,' her step mother lied.

Kina's smile dropped, 'I see.' She sat down on the sofa when Lacey brought her a glass of water. 'Thank you, Lacey.'

'I just thought it might help,' she grinned wiggling her eyebrows up.

Helena opened the envelope while closing the door and thought loud, 'Let's see what it says.'

Kina, Lacey, Elena and her step sisters watched Helena who smiled and started reading in her thoughts.

'Dear my beloved Kina,

I've passed down my entire estate, wealth and your mother's flower shop in the town to you.
