Chapter 20

The groups plane had landed in Sydney Australia where they would find the 6th Stand Arrow and ultimately find Danielle. At the airport Jeremiah called up Danielles Father.

"Mr Brando.... We're here where the last stand arrow is"

"Is..... Is Danielle safe?"

Jeremiah took a while to answer "we don't know but I have hope that she's here somewhere"

"Promise me you'll find her"

"Of course sir... I promise"

He hung up and joined the rest of the group to the hotel.

Meanwhile Emilia found out about the groups arrival "My lord it seems like Jeremiah and his team are here"

Danielle spat out her drink "h.... He's here?"

Emilia nodded "I can send some stand users to their location"

"No no no no! I'll go there myself"

"Really my lord?... Wouldn't it be more efficient for someone else to go there?"

"I said..... I'll go there myself"

Emilia could do nothing but nod.

Later at the hotel Jeremiah had decided to distance himself from the rest of the group which caused Emma to get worried she then found him on the balcony.

"Hey are you ok?"

Jeremiah looked at her "yeah I'm.... I'm alright"

Emma saw that something was wrong "if you need to tell me anything I'm here"

"I know"

"So... What's on your mind?"

Jeremiah took a deep breath "honestly I don't know what to think of"

"Are you thinking of Danielle?"

"Yeah"

Emma then took a big risk "do... Do you have feelings for her?"

"I don't know how I feel about her right now"

"It's alright to have feelings for someone... It's just how you act on them"

"Have you ever had a proper relationship Emma?"

Emma thought for a while "there was this one guy back in middle school well I thought he loved me... But he was just using me for popularity and after we broke up I felt that I couldn't have a proper relationship with someone ever again"

Jeremiah put his arm around her "you'll find someone"

Emma chuckled "yeah I know... The real question is what about you? What will you do if you do have feelings for Danielle"

"Hope for the best... Whatever God has planned for me I just go along with it"

Emma smiled "I'm gonna get some lunch you coming?"

"In a bit"

Emma went back inside leaving Jeremiah on the balcony.

"Looks like she stopped being annoying since the last time I saw her"

Jeremiah turned around to find Danielle standing next to him a thousand thoughts and questions swam through his head but those can be answered later.
