"...and this is how I spent my summer", Kang Su-mi finished her story only to realize that her story fell on deaf ears as her bff was quite busy staring at her phone and was giggling occasionally. Su-mi felt a little irritated at how she was being ignored but didn't showed that and politely called out her friend's name,
"Mi-young ah", no response.
"Yah Mi-young", again no response.
"YAH JANG MI-YOUNG!", she practically shouted earning quite an irritated looks from the people on the subway.
While she apologized to them, Mi-young calmly told her not to shout as she's texting someone. This brought Su-mi's attention and she was curious to know who Mi-young was texting so attentively that she didn't listened her at all got her curious and she started her questions first impatiently and then with a lot of aegyo. Mi-young who knew Su-mi since high-school didn't fall for it and calmly told her that she would know soon. When their stations came and they exited the train Mi-young again went staring at her phone while a grumpy Su-mi followed her through their university, Konkuk University.
Su-mi was practically skipping all her classes and was waiting for lunch where she would pry more information from Mi-young or actually try to pry since Mi-young was too tight-lipped about it. When lunch came Su-mi was disappointed that Mi-young never came during lunch. Her last resort was to confront Mi-young in her Economics department but when she went there she heard that Mi-young already went home. This went on for the whole week and when ever she even caught a glance of Mi-young she soon disappeared from her view so stopped bothering her feeling betrayed and stopped texting her altogether.
Kang Su-mi fell into a predicament when she saw Jang Mi-young's text first thing in the morning.
Mi-young : If you want to know who I have been texting all this week and why was I avoiding you then come to The Coffee House at Gangnam today at noon. I will tell you everything you want to know. Promise!
At first Su-mi thought of avoiding after-all it was Mi-young who has broken the friendship but hours later she thought why not listen to what she has to say, plus the words, ' I will tell you everything...' was eating her up, making her curious self all the more curious so she thought of going there even if Gangnam was a little far away from her apartment.
She has reached the little coffee shop in record time knowing the streets of Gangnam during weekends and started searching for her bff, even though her mind told her that it's over. However it didn't take her that long before she spotted Mi-young and went to her way at a more secluded place in the over-crowded coffee shop. Once Mi-young saw her she stood up and motioned for her to sit down and instantly started apologizing for avoiding her which made Su-mi feel bad and she quickly forgave her as Su-mi isn't that type of a girl who hold grudges for someone. When both the girls felt like they are back to themselves Mi-young suddenly cleared her throat and gestured someone in their direction before saying, "Su-mi I want you to meet the person whom I was texting all this week and was also avoiding you" and stood up
Su-mi suddenly felt a presence behind her back and copied her friend's actions turning to meet the person, a tall and other-worldly handsome guy who was carrying three cups of coffee smoothly and stared at her deeply and for some reason Su-mi felt her cheeks go hot as Mi-young cheerfully exclaimed,
So three years ago TaeHyung created a beautiful phrase from seemingly a color which didn't had any meaning to us before. But now the phrase "I Purple You" depicts the beautiful relationship that ARMYs and BTS share with each other, so I PURPLE YOU ALL!! Let's us walk on this purple path forever!
