Chapter 5 : Weekend Getaway Pt.1.

The next week a determined Su-mi head into her class only to find that it has been canceled due to some meeting the professors are attending so to spent the time she went to Mi-young's department, careful of not stumbling into a certain someone's path. She was lucky not to run into him but unfortunately found Mi-young having her Business classes so she went back to the cafeteria to sip some coffee and kill some time.

The Business Administration department cafeteria was huge with some students either eating or studying so she went to the far back into a more secluded and deserted area. With coffee on one hand and her things on the other she carefully managed to place everything on the table without slipping the coffee. Success, she thought when she placed everything neatly and took a seat to slowly drink her beverage while skimming through some notes for today's test in History. As she was memorizing * she heard a familiar voice nearby. Su-mi stopped reading and looked through the place where she noticed just left to her, in the first table there was a young boy talking to none other than Jin! Yes, it was clearly Jin, the scolding voice of his is unforgettable, but why is he scolding that boy and who is he exactly? The boy's face was covered with a mask and a grey hoodie so it was difficult for her to see and why was Jin scolding him that was a mystery as she couldn't hear the contents fully, only something like, 'Don't you come here again....' Or 'Why didn't you said anything...' or something like that. Su-mi was quite confused but still kept quiet and tried to eavesdrop on their conversation which was getting difficult now as they are whispering. It looked to Su-mi that maybe Jin didn't want to be seen with that person nor does he want anyone to find out about that boy too, Could it be the secret Ji-won was saying thought Su-mi and decided to talk to the boy when they both stood up and Jin left the place. Before she can reach him the boy took a U-turn and left the cafeteria. Su-mi took all her things and dashed after him but when she went outside she could find neither Jin nor that boy. It was as if the young boy disappeared completely and the more she ran and searched she couldn't find the grey hooded guy anymore.

Needless to say, Su-mi was a little disappointed and quietly ate her lunch. Actually the reason of her silence was that she's disgusted to the continued romance going in front of her which is her best friend and that jerk. Jin sometimes joins them during their lunch though she didn't hoped that today it would be that day. As she continued to watch the romance between them and shrink further due to embarrassment Mi-young suddenly pointed out her sour mood causing her to choke on her food.

"Sorry sorry I didn't knew you will choke on the food", Mi-young apologized while giving Su-mi a glass of water

"It's not your fault so don't be sorry", Su-mi answered after finally calming down and then said, "What were you saying?"

"Oh, well I just asked what's troubling you since you were so quiet but it doesn't matter now", Mi-young answered. She was genuinely concerned about her once cheerful friend but still thought of giving her space and some more time before she's ready to talk.

Su-mi thought for a while, thinking whether she should tell her about that mysterious boy she has seen earlier with Jin and their cryptic conversation but when she saw Jin staring at her she gulped and instantly changed the subject saying something like,

"Oh, I'm just having a test today that's why I'm quiet."

"A test?"

"Yes. History test, right after lunch", Su-mi truthfully answered.

Mi-young just nodded and then started to talk to her while Jin continued to stare at her skeptically. Su-mi noticed this but kept quiet as usual and when they were clearing away their dishes she stuck out her tongue at Jin when she got the opportunity and quickly rushed towards the exit. Little did she know that a certain someone was amused by her reaction and when Mi-young asked about it he just waved it off as nothing and went to his next class.

Days went by and Su-mi neither saw that boy nor Jin though Mi-young told her the weekend date she went with Jin and how much she loved Ilsan. Su-mi didn't want to know the details so she hardly heard her friend. Finally, she decided that she can't do anything except observe and hope for the best but still she hoped to find something about Jin which she can use when coincidentally she got a chance during lunchtime on one fine Tuesday afternoon. Su-mi was a little disappointed in getting average marks in the history test and when Mi-young confronted her about it she told her about it. Of course, Mi-young being Mi-young comforted her the best and tried to lift her spirits but when all of it went in vain she finally suggested her to accompany her and Jin this weekend, thus surprising Su-mi.

"What?!"

"Don't be so surprised", Mi-young exclaimed and then said, "He was planning it for quite some time but due to our hectic schedules we were unable to do it, so finally after taking consideration of other's plans we decided to do it this weekend. Of course, you can take it as just a sleepover cum picnic party and..."

"Wait wait, what do you mean by 'others'?", inquired Su-mi while interrupting Mi-young.

"Oh by 'others' I mean Jin's friends. He has told all of his friends to come too and as this is my first time meeting them I'm really nervous...of course, Jin specifically told me to invite my friends too but I told him that Su-mi is my only friend so I'm going to bring her and he accepted it so you have to come with me Su-mi-ah otherwise I will be alone. Will you come with me this weekend please ", Mi-young practically begged her while pouting and using her puppy dog eyes which she knows Su-mi can't resist.

Mi-young yelped and gave a cry of joy when Su-mi told her that she would go and hugged her tightly while repeating 'thank you' and this made Su-mi really smile and then both of them started laughing crazily causing a few stares from other students but they, for once didn't mind. It was only later when Mi-young said her farewell in the subway station with a 'can't wait for this weekend' than Su-mi thought yes prepare yourself for a crazy weekend Jin and smirked internally.

So how was the update? I think anyone can guess that it was Jungkook who was getting scolded by Jin but can you guess the reason? Also finally someone other than Jin made an appearance *applause*  The rest of the guys are also coming in a short while so don't worry ^^
