Twenty Second Chapter Part: Two

"What do you mean something is  wrong with my brother?" I question her. "He's hiding something and he won't tell." Jazzy says and I can hear the worry in her voice. "Jaz, it's probably a guy thing." I suggest, she could be right. Something could be going on with Jdrew that I didn't know about. "No, trust me Jasmine. I know I can over react a lot but I mean it. Something is wrong with him and I want to find out what it is. We have to do this together. Jasmine, look into his eyes next time you talk to him then you'll understand." I sigh. "Jaz..." I start, I take her hand and make her look at me. "What?" She asks and I can see that she's holding back tears, oh boy. Something is wrong with Jdrew, Jazzy isn't the type to cry. "OK, Let's figure this out together." She smiles as a tear soldiers down her cheek. I give her a sympathetic look and I'm secretly praying that she's wrong. I hope nothing really bad is happening with Jdrew. I don't know what I would do if he's doing what I think he's doing. Oh God no, please no.....

Justin's POV:

"I need your help man, he hasn't paid me and I need you to beat his ass up." Daniel tells Ryan. "No way." Chaz answers for him. "What are you guys talking about?" I ask as I give them each a root beer. "His drug dealing." My eyes widen. "Don't talk about your personal life here at my house." I warn him. "Relax, it's not like your mom's home." He says taking out a bag from his pocket and by Ryan's and Chaz's reaction I knew it was either weed or cocaine. "What the hell dude?" I'm angry and I snatch the bag from his hand. "Hey! Give it back!" He's angered by my action. "You can have it back and you can leave." I'm shaken up by the soft voice behind me and I feel my whole body heat up. "Yes ma'am." Daniel doesn't argue and snatches the bag from my hand and forcefully pumps into my shoulder as he leaves.

"... Jdrew..." I hear him mumble really fast and all I heard was Jdrew. "He's not to come back into this house, do you hear me?" My mom says sternly after she hears the door open and close. I nod without turning around and I'm praying that she'll just leave it alone until Ryan and Chaz leave. I look at them and their face is pale, shit. We were all getting it. I turn around and she has her arms crossed over her chest and my heart sinks when I see Jasmine standing beside her and she has tears in her eyes. Daniel was mumbling to her, and I'm not sure what he told her but I only knew that it was related to Jdrew and if she's crying my best would be a threat towards Jdrew to hurt Jasmine and that would hurt... me, but mostly her. "Honey, what's wrong?" My mom asks her, Jasmine quickly wipes her face and shook her head. "Drugs make me cry." She says and they both burst into laughter. "I swear, we weren't doing it!" Chaz, Ryan, and I shouted at the same time. My mom and Jasmine frown at us and burst into laughter again. "They're guilty." Jasmine says, I glare at her and she winks. "You're evil." I say, she chuckles. "I know." She says. "What are you doing here, I thought you were babysitting tonight..." I mentally smack myself as I see her face, She thinks I don't want her here. "...not that you're not wanted... I just.." she rolled her eyes. "I'll get some snacks." My mom says and walks away, she knew it was getting awkward. "And we'll go help her." Ryan and Chaz hurry behind my mom. "Sorry, I didn't mean it to come out that way." I say. "Its OK, I gotta get home anyways." She's in a hurry and I'm starting to feel really bad. "What did he say to you?" I ask before she could walk off. "Jdrew is in danger and I have to help him." She says and she starts walking off really fast, I run after her and take a hold of her arm gently. "I have to go." She says forcefully getting my hand off of her. "Jasmine, please. I'm trying to help." I start. "You don't get it, Jdrew got himself into some deep shit and I don't want anyone else getting involved. If you get hurt trying to protect my brother I would never forgive myself." She says and she's holding back tears. "Its not fair." I start. "What?" She sounds angry. "I bet your group of friends are going to get involved and you'll be putting me behind all this. I get it, Jdrew and I might not be great friends or friends at all but I want to help here too." She glares at me. "If you weren't dating me, would you still want to help him?" I open my mouth but I'm cut off before I could say anything. "Let's say you and I  never happened and Jdrew was in deep shit would you help him?" I'm quiet and she nods. "Bye Justin." She's says walking out the door. "She's a great girl, but don't get involved. You might get hurt." I turn around to find my mom standing behind the couch and I shook my head. "I can't do that..." once those words cane out my mouth she looked horrified. "Please stay out of it, Justin I wouldn't be able to bear if anything ever happened to you. Please." She begs me and she's crying. "I won't." I say surrendering. "Promise me Justin thag you won't get involved." She's not asking me she's demanding me. "I... I promise." Nut I feel terrible, I want to help but I couldn't betray my mother.

Jasmine's POV:

"Its not fair." Justin says and I'm confused. "What?" I ask a bit too harshly but don't bother to apologize. "I bet your group of friends are going to get involved and you'll be putting me behind all this. I get it, Jdrew and I might not be great friends or friends at all but I want to help here too." He says and I'm hurt, how could he say that? It wasn't fair. "If you weren't dating me, would you still want to help him?" He open his mouth but I cut him off before he could say anything. "Let's say you and I  never happened and Jdrew was in deep shit would you help him?" I ask and he's  quiet. I didn't know what to say to him. How could I possibly include him into something I don't even want my friends to be a part of but they'll be involved regardless of how much I try to keep then out of it. The difference here is that my friends have been friends with Jdrew and with me for years and Justin just came into y life as my boyfriend. He was just my boyfriend, and he's only trying to help to prove himself but I don't want him getting hurt. "Bye Justin." I say and I walk out the door. I couldn't do that to him, bring him into Jdrew's dumbass problem. I didn't even want to get involved but he's my brother and I know he would get involved if I wore to be in his shoes. I was scared for both our lives and for our friends as well. For my parents, and for my friends' family. It was already bad enough. I start running cutting through people's yards to get home a little faster. I had to make sure Jdrew was home. "Imma get Jdrew for doing me wrong, he owes me for my drugs." Those words kept repeating in my head. When I finally got home I could barely catch my breath but I didn't stop until I got home. I force the door open and jump inside fast. "Jasmine?" My dad says worried as he sees me, He stabd to his feet in papa bear mode. "Is someone chasing you?" I shook my head as I was catching my breath. "Jdrew is in danger." I manage to say and my father's eyes widen. "What are you talking about?" He asks. "He's been doibg drugs." I say and I'm hurt that I've told on him but or dad needed to know. "What?" My dad and Jdrew shout at the same time, Jdrew drops the bowl of popcorn on the floor and he's staring at me wide eyed.

Bam! Bet you guys weren't expecting this!:) don't hate me, but this is what I originally planned and I want to continue with it and yeah I had writers block but I knew what I was trying to work with I just had to think about how I would put it together.
