The Babysitter (Justin/Jasmine)

Twentieth Part

"Where are you taking me?" I ask him anxiously. "Somewhere." He says with a big grin. "No duh, where exactly are you taking me?" He rolls his eyes. "I'm the one driving, don't worry about it." I glare at him as he winks at me. He makes a turn into some woods and I start to worry, woods mean me and him being completely alone with no one around. Maybe that's a good thing? I don't want this to be the day that I loose my virginity. He's my boyfriend true, but I don't know if I want him to be my first and then he leaves me. "What's wrong?" He asks. I guess he can tell I'm panicking. "Nothing. Woods are just kinda creepy." He chuckles as he raises an eyebrow. "I'm not going to murder you here, it would be the stupidest and too cliche." I laugh. "I'm not worried about that, JDrew would kill you himself." I shrug and he laughs. "It's sort of funny when your brother is angry. He acts so childish." I laugh and he rolls his eyes. "And you're talking why? You've beat up Taylor many times before." He nods. "You would save him though." I laugh. "There was one fight where he was beating you." He glares at me. "Don't remind me, he hit my balls. I was done for." I laugh again and he laughed with annoyance. "Anyways, I'm not here to do you either." His voice is serious with sincere behind it. "I know." I say and I mean it, Justin wouldn't take advantage I knew that but he also knows I'm not ready for that at all. "We're just going to take a swim." He grins. "I love swimming!" I cheer. My phone then starts ringing and I take it out my purse and it's my brother. I answer it and he's literally yelling. "What's wrong, you need to calm down." Justin looks at me with concern. "Mom got shot!" Was all I heard before I dropped my phone and I was.still, I wouldn't budge. Justin pulled over and tried getting me to talk. He grabbed my phone. "What's wrong?" He asks and then his face softened. "What hospital?" He asks him. "We'll be there soon." He hangs up and grabs me taking my seat belt off and laying me on his lap. "I'm so sorry." He says and I knew I was crying because he hugged me tight and my face was on his chest. My mom got shot? She's a nurse, why would anyone want to hurt her?

When we got to the hospital JDrew had his elbows on his knees and covered his face with his hands, I knew he was.still crying. My father had his arm over his head and against the wall, they were both crying. There were nurses and doctors running around getting into rooms and a few cops helping some nurses clean up blood. "What happened?" I asked. "Security was tight when we tried to enter, they wouldn't let us in without an ID." I say and JDrew looks up at me and his eyes are puffy and red, my dad looks the same way and then I start tearing up. We get into a group hug and we're crying on each other. What happened?

"What happened?" I asked once we were calm. "Some crazy dude came in with a gun and just started shooting and people got hurt and mom was one of them." JDrew explains with his fists turning white. He was angry. "What happened toy the guy?" He better had been arrested. "The cops shot him, he's dead." He got away with it. I was angered that he had the easy way out. "Family of Mrs. Villegas?" A doctor asked checking out his clip board he looked up and smiled at my dad. "Yes?" My dad was anxious and worried. "She's fine, the bullet went right through her side without hurting any organ or bone. She has lost a lot of blood but other than that, she's fine. She's awake, she took some pain killers. You guys can come and see her. Follow me." Justim took my hand and we all walked behind the doctor. Once we made it to the door D254 the doctor looked at us with a smile and let us in, my mom smiled at us when we entered the room I let go of Justin's hand and rush to hug my mother. "I'm okay honey." She says taking me into her arms, Jdrew was next and he cried his eyeballs out. Such a mommy's boy. My dad kissed her and hugged her after Jdrew let go. "I'm so glad you are okay." I say. "Me too." She smiles sweetly and I know she's staying strong so that we don't worry about her. "Thanks for coming Justin." My mom said and Justin starts to blush. "Yeah sure." He says awkwardly. I smile at him and I'm thanking him for being here with me today. I needed him and he stood beside me.
