Before I could do anything I heard a knock at the door, before opening up I asked who it was.
“Its Jackson” The voice called back
“ I got worried because you missed the bus and First Period” Jackson Spoke as I opened the door
Jackson Aka Jacko Is my best mate, he is one of the nicest people you could ever meet but Hurt anyone close to Him he WILL! Be after you. Jacko gives me hope and understands me; he makes me feel like there is something to live for. He is the only one who cares and I might actually mean something to He gives me that little feeling of hope,
“Are you coming” he indicated starting to walk
“yeah Just give me a sec to get a few things” I replied without indicating that anything was wrong.
I ran back upstairs and grabbed what I needed and my bag before racing down stairs and slamming the door behind me
“what did you need to get” Jacko asked with a curious look on his face.
“Nothing you need to care about” I quietly spoke holding back tears.
Walking into school is a harsh reality, it’s like walking into a place where you’re not welcome, not understood and defiantly NOT! Loved by anyone. I don’t know how people could do it, How could you tease, bully and judge someone you have never spoken a word to. Leaving them to wonder what have I done? Why am I not good enough for anyone, not even myself?
I hear the bell for third period as it brings me out of my thoughts. Jacko stops beside me curiously. “What’s up” He asked taking another step forward.
“Umm Can you do me a favour and miss third period with me PLEASE” I replied without moving my eyes from straight ahead
“Are you going to attend any class today” He answered with a giggle in his voice But I just tuned and Looked at him.
“Umm yeah sure” He blurted out
“Let’s just put our bags away”
“NO!” I replied quickly holding back tears
“I’ll keep mine”
“Okay” He answered me with worry on his face.
We wondered up to the tall oak tree that grows just out the back of the school grounds so No! One could see us.
I drop my bag to the ground and follow it busting into tears
