Cori and Liam sit in the backseat of the car as Kira drives them to Lydia's lakehouse. The whole time, Cori seemed to find different topics to talk with Liam about that kept him busy. That fact put Kira at ease since she was a nervous wreck, she watched as the younger supernatural was easily able to almost manipulate the young wolf. Little did the Kitsune know, Cori wasn't even using her powers on Liam. The blonde genuinely enjoyed talking with the boy and getting to know him.

Cori and Liam had laughed quite a lot as they talked, sometimes so hard that they ended up leaning on to each other for support.

Kira would look through the rear view mirror from time to time, seeming to enjoy their innocent chatter. Even though the two just met, they hit it off and it's like they've known each other for years.

They soon arrive at the Lakehouse, Liam frowning when he gets out of the car. "I thought you said this was a party..." he glances at Kira before looking at Cori. The girl smiles and uses her powers only then, her voice seeming to echo as she speaks.

"It is. This is an exclusive party and we're early. Come on! Let's go." Cori grinned.

She holds out her hand, Liam following her as though he were in a trance. They hold hands securely as they walk up the steps.

When the door opens, Liam's smile drops and he groans. The only reason he wasn't lashing out was because Cori still had a hold on him.

Scott looks at Josh and motions for them to stop using their powers on the beta. Josh looks at his younger sister and nods, Cori getting the memo, turns her whole body towards Liam. She wraps his arm around her shoulders in what appears to be a flirty action but she just did that to help steady Liam when he was fully out of the trance.

Cori leans in to Liam's ear and uses her voice to coax him out of her hold on him. "Liam." The beta looks over at Cori, his eyes seeming to shine as he stares at the pretty girl. "Isn't the night sky just beautiful? Go ahead and touch the moon for me." She smiles.

Liam looks out the window and slowly raises his hand but stops mid action. Liam stares at his hand in confusion and looks back at everyone in the room.

"Werewolf." Liam points at Scott.
"Werecyote." Malia.
"Banshee." Lydia.
"And fox." Liam then points at Kira.

"Kitsune but same thing." The ravenette corrects with a shrug. Liam ignores her comment and looks at Stiles.

"And what are you?"

Stiles nods and shrugs his shoulders, "I was possessed by an evil spirit for a while." he offers.

"Well what are you now?" The beta asks, the question causes Stiles to frown for a moment. "Better?" it came out as a question as Stiles didn't exactly know what to say.

"A-And what are they? Vampires?" Liam points to the Curant siblings.

"Well, apparently they're mermaids." Stiles sighs and tosses his hands in the air, "Yay! Two sirens that can sing their way into anyone's heart."

The Curant siblings looked visibly offended but Cori looked more murderous. "Mermaids and sirens are completely different creatures. Have you even looked at the roots of sirens? They're bird woman. I'm half fi-!"

"We're getting a little off track." Josh smiles and covers his sister's mouth.

Cori rolls her eyes and pushes her brother away with a huff. She glances at Liam who is staring at her with his mouth slightly parted. Cori feels herself become self conscious under the stare of the Beta, her eyes glowing golden as Josh's glow blue.
