Thomas led the way out of his office, where Kailyn and Owen were waiting.
"Ready to go home?"
She nodded, and was ready to go, when she remembered Thomas. She turned around to see that he was still there, and said, "Thank you for everything. Really."
"That's alright, Isabella. Take care. Do come back later!"
"I will."
Kailyn immediately wrapped her in a goodbye hug so tight like they both were never going to see each other again.
"Bye!" Kailyn said, letting go.
"Bye, Kailyn." Isabella said, turning back to go to Owen.
He held his hand out for her to take, and she internally 'died' from his caring gesture. But in his perspective, it was way more than a 'caring gesture.' It was a motive. A motive to bring things back the way they were. A motive to change the way she saw him right now. She needed him. And he was more than happy to take her up on that offer. They had been more than friends. What had happened to that?
Owen pulled out his Realm Keeper, and dictated the words, "Crestfall, Dalemark."
~ AT CRESTFALL ~
A beautiful, shimmering, meadow glistened throughout Isabella's view. A path was made in the middle of the meadow, separating it into two endless fields. At the very end of the path stood a gorgeous house, painted with almost an ice blue and an appealing lavender color. It looked like a president's house-sort-of-building, and she couldn't believe that she was going to.........Live. In. It.
"Elisa? ... Tony?" Owen shouted as he led her to the path.
"Owen?" Elisa called from somewhere.
"Who's this girl?" Tony called from behind them.
And just after Isabella and Owen turned around, Tony dropped the shovel he was holding, and Elisa gasped, whispering, "No. It can't be."
Elisa looked just like Isabella; just a little different. She had light brown hair, and bright, silvery eyes. Tony was a lot taller than Elisa, and had brown hair too, but a slightly darker shade. His eyes looked more like Isabella's--grey with hints of silver, making them look really luminous at times.
Owen gently tugged her forward, as they walked towards Isabella's parents. And while Isabella didn't understand anything that was going on, her parents clearly did.
"It's really her, Elisa." Owen said quietly, as Tony took Isabella's hands like it was the first time he had ever seen her.
"I-I don't know what to say." Tony said, as tears began to roll down Elisa's cheeks.
"You're my parents??" Isabella asked.
"What? Of course we're you're parents." Elisa quietly said with a confused look.
"Um..Tony and Elisa...I don't know how to tell you this, but... Nemesis washed her memory," Owen said.
And at once, the world seemed like it had tilted sideways.
