“AHHHHHHH!” I scream. I angrily rip my french manicured nails at my silky platinum blonde hair. Why can’t this lipstick just not smoosh? I rub it off my lips fiercely.

“Vanessa, you ready?” My BFF, Alicia Nalda, steps in. Her usual pin- straight brown hair is nicely curled.

“Oh why is your hair always so beautiful, you’re so lucky,” I groan.

“Oh I’d rather be a natural blonde.” She smiles, and rolls her eyes. “But c’mon, this shopping trip is happening.”

“Yeah Vanessa! We’re waiting!” My other best friend, Malex Jericho, appear at my doorway, she steps in, takes my comb and fixes her pixie cut. I take another look at the mirror, reflecting the prettiest girl I’ve seen my life. I never like to look away, but I guess I have to. It’s life. I rub the lipstick on my lips; one last time, both Alicia and I are what you would call slim and skinny. We’re so beautiful, and she’s like my sister. I check my mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, foundation. Perfect.

 A day later-

I lead Alicia and Malex out of my mom’s ferrari, all the students on the high school campus, getting out of cars, busses, immediately look over to my gorgeous being, Alicia too. I can see the drool coming out of a love thirsty boy’s mouth, but I give him the stink eye as he stares at me, his wanting face turning to sadness. Of course I don’t approve of him, he’s gross. Boys are so obsessed with me. It gets really annoying. I mean, don’t touch me! I have Ash. I love Ash. Malex’s daddy, the principal climbs out too, out of our passengers seat. He recently had his car stolen. So he’s been extra grouchy, and picks his nose even more, but Alicia and I try to not grimace too much, just for Malex. I heard scrunching up your face ruins your face structure after all, all my effort of morning foundation and concealer would be worth nothing. That’s a nightmare!

“Goodbye Sweetheart Honey.” My mom smiles at me. I inherited her perfect smile. Along with  her pink lips, platinum blonde hair. I smile back.

“Have a good day at work!”

Principal Jericho’s tie has been dipped in coffee, but he’s the principal, he doesn’t have to worry about that. A boy runs up to me and he has big ugly nerd glasses.

“Hey! Vanessie! Wanna like- Wanna like-”

“Oh my god! Get away from me, Creep!” I scream at him. He puckers up his lips, but Alicia and I run. Malex tries to keep up with us, but she didn’t diet, even when I suggested that she should a little bit, so her legs… Sorry Malex, you’re a great friend and bodyguard- but she’s a little chubby legged, she has a mustache too, but never mind that, she couldn’t run very fast. Malex ran as fast as she could, and knocked right into the geek. The boy crumpled to the ground. Malex stands over him like a building.

“Malex! You okay!?” Alicia shrieked, her eye- linered eyes widen in shock.

“HOW DARE YOU HURT MY DAUGHTER!” Mr. Jericho’s furious, he marches over to boy, who’s struggling to get up.

“Uh… Sorry Principal Jericho.” He apologizes.

“See me in homeroom, that’s a suspension for you, right there,” The principal shoves his meaty finger in the boy’s face. I roll my icy blue eyes, as shown in the window reflection, grab Alicia’s arm and we enter.

Teenagers are crowding the entrance, but when they see me, they all pause a little, and stare, some even make way for me to cross. I twirl my blonde hair with one finger, and smile flirtily at the cute boys I pass. I smirk at some jealous girls.

“Look, it’s Mila Allen and UGH, Zoie Linda!” Alicia whispers in my ear. I give her a grossed out look.. That little new girl with wavy brown hair, who decided to yell at us for no apparent reason.  She’s psycho with anger problems, and she just came, uninvited. She yelled at us when we were kindly giving Mila Allen, fashion advice at her locker; I mean someone as ugly as Mila needs the advice, and Zoie decided to ruin it for all of us. The worse thing is that Zoie has the one thing that I don’t have- an iPhone- and how I hate her for that! Why is she so special!? God! I mean, I do have an iPhone, but it’s an older generation, and it’s not even my fault. Mom went to buy one for me when the iPhone two came out, I told her to wait; I wasn’t even excited, fine maybe I was, but that was a long time ago.

I watch Zoie talk to Mila quietly, wow. She can’t even talk to her new friend, huh? Not like a normal person. Zoie’s stupid brother, Jaison, is standing next to her like he doesn’t know better. I giggle at the thought of him ever getting a girlfriend. But I’m not here to think about Zoie, or Mila, or Jaison, or that geeky nerd. Yesterday, Alicia and I brought matching mini skirts from Forever Twenty One. They are so cute! I mean really! Malex tried one too, but she broke the zipper and we ran out of the fitting room. I don’t think she did it on purpose anyways.  I also brought the newest Vera Bradley bag. It’s symphony in hue and it’s just simply the cutest purse a girl can buy, Zoie’s purse is from walmart. I giggle at the thought. Mila doesn’t even have a purse. I giggle harder at that thought. Jaison- Well, I guess he has a backpack, it’s cheap too. I also need to get attention on my new black juicy couture heels that are to die for. Hmmm… A skirt, and a purse, and shoes. I shake my body to get people to notice my skirt, then I kick my leg up, for them to see the heels, just as I was going to swing the purse in the air, that made me drop my purse.

“Oh!” I shriek. I reach over to grab my purse, but someone else takes it first. His green eyes shine at me, as he flicks his midnight black hair out of his eyes.

“Ash!” I squeal at the sight of my boyfriend. The students have resumed to their own business, and I lead Ash to my locker in this gigantic high school. He smirks at me, as he wraps an arm around my waist. I sigh, enjoying it.

“Nice skirt.” He says.

“Thanks, what about Jail- girl’s skirt?”

“Zoie? I didn’t pay attention to her.”

“Oh she’s not even wearing a skirt.” I roll my eyes. “You’re so funny.”

“Well, I didn’t know-” I plant a kiss on his mouth, leaving some ‘redlicious’ lipstick on his lips. That’s the name of the color. Oops, I guess. “Hey Ash, you know I really want this jean jacket from Hollister.” I say.

“Hollister?”

“You’re so clueless! That dark store! With trees! At the mall, we always go to!”

“They plant trees in the dark?” Ash looks confused. My boyfriend is cute, but sometimes he’s so clueless, but I don’t blame him. If I was my own girlfriend, I’d be head over heels with myself too, I wouldn’t be able to concentrate on anything else, either.
