We both laid on the cold floor facing each other. Not saying a word just starring into each others eyes, as if they were telling a story.

"will it always be like this" I asked raising my hand to run my fingers down his temple to his neck before he snatched it.

"of course darling.... It me and you forever.. Always" he said kissing my hand.

I've been here almost a week. Do I miss home? No. Do I miss school. Kind of. Do I miss Amber.... I tell myself no but my heart says yes.

"what are you thinking about" he asked scooting closer to me and draping his arm on my bare hip.

" how my life has changed in a week" I said gazing at the fire cracking behind him. We were at a certain distance so he couldn't get hurt. The crackling was a calming sound with the wood hissing behind.

" a good change or bad" he asked, wary

" A good" I said stating the oblivious

We heared a knock at the door. I jumped in surprise. I thought he said no one was home.

Collin jumped over me and crouched. Sniffing the air for a few seconds. He motioned for me to hide behind the couch. He quickly dressed before there was a second knock.

He opened the door to reveal..... A little girl?

She walked threw the door smiling at Collin.

"Uncle Collin can you make me a Peanut butter and jelly sandwich, please"? She asked in the most sweetest tone.

I quickly gathered my clothes.

" Of course Sophiebear but first where's grandma" he asked smiling at her

"Grandma said she had something important to do, so she told me to spend time with you" she said jumping with joy. She had dark curly brown hair. She was so little. She was wearing a little blue dress. She reached into her backpack and grabbed an envelope and gave it to Collin." Grandma told me to give you this, Uncle Collin I'm hungry can we go now" she said pulling his hand.

" Sophie sweetie, I want. You to meet someone" he said staring at her face for her approval

"okay" she said " I like meeting new people"

Collin caught me looking and motioned for me to stand up.

" Sophiebear, this is you Aunt Audrina" Collin said picking her up. And holding her. She smiled and leaned forward to give me a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"hi" she said giggling

" Hi Sophie I said hugging her back she jumped into me and out of Collins embrace.

"Aunt Abina can you make me a sandwich" she said looking at me. She had the most beautiful blue eyes and pink pouty lips. Audrina must be hard for her to say. Aunt abina. I think I like the sound of that.

" Sure sweetie" I said carrying her towards the door smiling at Collin.

Collin was leaning against the wall staring at us, as if he were thinking something. I led her downstairs to the kitchen. .

" Do you love my uncle Aunt Abina"? She asked scratching her eye as if she was tired.

" Of course sweetie" I said smiling "if I didn't love him I wouldn't be here"

I could here Collin laughing as he entered the kitchen.

" Why are you laughing, Uncle Collin." She asked as she sat on the counter watching me make her sandwich

" Can you put alot of jelly on mine please" Sophie said raising her hands over her head giggling in the process.

"I like my sandwich with alot of jelly too" I said smiling this little girl is to silly. I wish Collin would give me answers... But I caught up enjoying this moment right now.

" Is that why you made her my aunt" she said facing Collin picking her nose " because she likes alot of jelly on her sandwich" she said as I gave her the spoon the lick. My mother used to do that for me. Before everything happened.

" one of the reasons" he said smirking at me.
