Part 3: Seperate Ways

We stepped into the stairwell and went down to the lobby and we walked in.
"Who the fuck is she!" Yelled Blaze
Cloud turned to me and Ashley.
"Blaze, shut your fucking mouth, I'm the one that gives the orders" snarled Cloud as he walked up to us and held out his hand. "I'm Cloud, and you are?"
"I'm Ashley, it's nice to meet you" she replied as she shook his hand.
Blaze walked over to us. "Cloud, we can't have her here with us, she will only slow us down"
I looked at Blaze and snapped. "Shut the fuck up Blaze! You don't give the orders!
Blaze tackled me to the ground and started swinging. "I'll fucking kill you Shadow! Don't talk to me like that!"
Cloud grabbed Blaze and threw him off of me.
"Blaze!, don't you dare attack your comrade like that! And Shadow don't disrespect a higher rank than you and besides, Blaze has a point. The girl will only slow us down"
"I understand that Master but I just had to put her brother down in front of her because he was infected. I can't just leave her here to die"
"You were always a kind hearted person Shadow. Maybe we should go our separate ways, you and Ashley should leave out in the morning. Me and Blaze will set up a distraction so you two can escape out the back door." Cloud turned to Blaze. "Blaze, take your sniper rifle and some grenades to the roof and set off some car alarms in the front of the hotel. Once they are distracted Shadow and Ashley will run out the back doors and find somewhere else to go."
"Master, there is an abandoned church across town, I'll take Ashley and we will run there."
"Ok Shadow. Sounds like a plan. Now let's get some rest and we will put the plan into motion as soon as the sun rises"
I turned around and took Ashley by her hand. "We need to get some rest Ashley, we got to be up and ready early in the morning"
She turned to me "Thank you Shadow, thank you for not leaving me behind"
I looked at her. "Your welcome now
Let's get some rest"
