Natasha was excited. Today both of them were going to the movies and then out for dancing afterwards. She had a surprise for him and hoped he would like it.

Steve was always sort of reserved but with Nat he would let loose. She was the only one who could make him have actual fun and actually let go of everything.

Walking into the Stark speakeasy, they split up. Maria, Wanda and Sam went one way towards the poker tables and Tony, Natasha and Steve went the other towards the stage.

On stage were f

lappers. These flappers were young, fast-moving, fast-talking, and they viewed social conventions or taboos as mere suggestions. Which made them perfect for the Stark club. Rules were non-existant here. They smoked cigarettes, drank alcohol, rode in and drove cars and kissed and petted with different men.

Natasha and Maria was a bit more inhibited because they were Wanda's role models and were insistant on making sure she knew she had options.

Natasha had come out wearing a golden sequined gown that complimented the brilliant red curling down her shoulders like liquid fire. Steve on the other hand wore black with the added flower in his pocket Nat wanted him to wear.

"It matches my dress" she'd said smirking. He had laughed and held his arm out for her.

When they entered the club neither let go of the others hands but she pulled him towards the stage.

"I wanna sing!" She sing-songed. He only laughed and let himself get dragged. She took great care in choosing the song.

"Care to dance with me Captain?"

"I could never say no to my best gal."

"Sure you can follow along?" She murmured into his ear.

"Oh. I'm sure I can."

She started, a low crooning and then she danced around him, eyes never leaving his.

Embrace me, my sweet embraceable you
Embrace me, you irreplaceable you

Just one look at you
My heart grows tipsy in me
You and you alone
Brings out the gypsy in me

I love all
The many charms about you
Above all, I want my arms about you

Don't be a naughty, naughty baby
Come to mama, come to mama do
My sweet embraceable you

I love all
The many charms about you
Above all
I want my arms about you

Don't be a naughty, naughty baby
Come to mama, come to mama do
My sweet embraceable you"

The way she danced made him freeze and then shiver when she ran her fingers up his arm. "My sweet embraceable... You."

"Mine." He said as he held her close.

"Mine." She whispered onto his lips.

"Yo! Steve! Nat! Want some hooch?!!"

"Tones!!" Anthony Stark. Always knows how to ruin a moment.

"What?!"

Smacks were heard as everyone reached over each other to smack their idiot friends head.

"OW!"

Song by Sarah Vaughn called Embraceable You

The sing isn't from the 1920s but I feel like it fits so well with the jazz tunes so I just put it in. I imagined a blushing Steve and a conniving and flirtatious Nat who loves to push his buttons. And he lets her because he's absolutely in love with her. Also its the 1920s and I'm absolutely in love with the romanticism.
