When they entered the room everyone said their hellos and they settled down for a long night of pictures.
Afterwards....
"That was so good!" Nat gushed to Steve. Who blushed. The two of them had this "thing" meaning they were technically together but not. But if any other man or woman tried anything with either of them, the other would make it clear they were exclusive.
"Hey babe we should go out to see one soon! It would be so fun!"
Chicago was full of life at night and there was always something new to do and see.
"Why don't we all go?!" Tkny chimed in. He wasn't about to let his friends go alone. Even Steve's size wouldn't do a thing against a gang and he knew with Natasha with him they'd be in danger.
"Yeah. If we don't Nat will get zozzled and then Steve will have to carry her all the way back. Then of course the lecture Tony would give. Its annoying so we're all going."
"Fine." He loved spending time with his best gal even if it was with 5 other people. She laid her head on his shoulder as another reel came up.
"I wish we could do something that was fun!"
"We can but only with guards. I've told you guys this before."
The speakeasy they worked in was also owned by the Starks. Neither of the girls needed jobs because they could stay in the apartments without rent and were basically just an extension of the Stark family. Maria and Nat just wanted to experience the parties and the fast pace of the underground life. It had been safe to do so until a few months ago when a band of gangsters arrived in town. Little Al was the biggest and the baddest of them. In addition to the cops and politicians he had on his payroll, and the men patrolling the streets, he also had spies hidden everywhere. He had visited the Stark Tower once and tried to lure Natasha and Wanda out for "some fun" as he had put it. Wanda was 14 years old. A child and Natasha had only just arrived in America and he knew he could get them. Luckily Steve and Sam were waiting for them. They had spies also and had gotten word of an attack on the girls who were visiting the club. Of course this put them on Little Al's radar and that created this air of suspicion and paranoia from everyone.
