Felix's's P.O.V.
The fire roared before me, the heat filling me with warmth as the boys danced around the fire. Cole even had his wings and horns showing in which they were not full grown like mine or Borra's massive wings that were at least nine feet with each wing. I could tell he looked up me by how he trained, watching me train and try to copy me. He reminded me of Pan's little sister, always trying to look up to him.

Catching Eden talking to Borra, the two start laughing with each other, Borra's wings folded behind him with Eden's tucked in. What I found interesting is that the Fey's male horns are much more tall and a little thinner, but the females were smaller and more thick, harder to break. Male wings are also dull in color while the female's wings are much more bright and vibrant.

Nate looked across the fire through the flames at Eden, a look of lust mixed with anger in his eyes. Pan had told me everything and told me to keep an eye on the boy, making sure he didn't go anywhere near Eden. Glancing a little way away from him, I see Pan looking down at his pipe.

I stand up, walking over to Pan as I sit down. "What's going through your head?"

"Nothing, I'm just thinking about Eden and Emma,"

"Eden will stay here, you don't need to worry." I smirk, knowing she won't leave Borra at least but I could still tell Pan didn't believe me and I knew just what to do. "Hey, why don't we play a game. You know Eden hasn't experienced one yet." I nudge him which brought a smile to his face. He whistled sharply, catching the boys' attention and Eden's as well.

"Let's play a game. Eden, you have three minutes to hide on the island. If we don't find you within the hour, you win."

"And if you do?" Eden asked, clearly accepting the game.

"You need to do something the boys and I come up with. Not to mention you get to chose one boy that can help you." Pan explains. Eden looked at him as if thinking what she would do but a smirk quickly came to her face.

"Fine, but Felix is with me."

"I'm right here!" Borra argued.

"Sorry brother, she made her choice. I'm better." I brag, standing up.

"Alright, boys you know the rules. No killing or beating. Felix, Eden, your time starts now!"

Eden followed me as we creep along the tree branch, stopping to see the boys below us trying to find us. They keep looking, some looking in obvious places like in the bushes, the smaller trees and things like that. Eden peered over my shoulder, trying to see what was going on but I keep her at bay with my wing. Someone suddenly came flying down and I hide Eden and I with my wings.

"Anything?" Pan lands on the soil, looking at the boys.

"Nothing yet." A boy reported to him, Pan glancing around to see if he could find anything the other boys couldn't find which often happened.

"Spread out. They're close." Pan said. I lower my wing, gesturing for Eden to follow as we sneak away from them, silently jumping across the branches like the monkeys that swing through the trees sometimes. I could hear Pan and the boys coming after us, meaning they were onto us.

"Careful," I nod down below, seeing the steep mountain below us.

"Heights, great." Eden's voice shook as we start to walk across the branches.

"Not a fan of heights?" I smirk in front of her, glancing back at her as we slowly make our way across. I could see her shaking as she tried not to look down.

"Not at all."

"It's okay, just don't look down, just listen to me, look at me." I said calmly, Eden seeming to listen as she kept her head up. I let her go forward and walk behind her, making sure she didn't fall. But a loud crack caught my attention as it echoes through the air, both of us stopping dead in our tracks. I see the crack wrapping around the tree branch right between Eden and I. Eden shakes more than she already was. "Eden, I need you to listen closely. Come to me very, very slowly." I said, staying still with my wings to keep me balanced. I knew Eden could use her wings but she wouldn't, she doesn't have enough training and she's too scared.

Eden takes a step closer to me, waiting before she took another step. I offer my hand to her, looking back to see Pan and the boys skidding to a stop at the edge of the hill, some of the boys in the front almost falling down. I could tell Pan was worried for Eden, thinking what to do. The tree branch snaps off and Eden fell but I quickly grab her wrist, hearing her yelp.

"Eden!" Pan screams, his fear showing.

"It's alright, I got you." I said, keeping her in my grasp. Eden struggled to keep my grip, her wings beating to try and get her out of this situation but she couldn't only falling from my grip. I don't spend a second thinking about it before I dive after her, Eden falling and rolling to the bottom, crashing to the ground. I open my wings, slowing down as I land on my knees next to her. "Eden?" I a, making sure she was okay. I could see the blood staining her golden hair and wings, her leg cut badly and one of her wings bent in an odd way. Eden looked back at me, her face beat up with blood.

"Oh my Hades." Pan lands next to us, leaning down to Eden. We help her carefully get off the dirt and against a tree, seeing the gash on her leg. Pan was quick to tie a bandana around it, trying to stop the bleeding but it only ended up in Eden crying in pain.

"Felix, are you alright?" Borra asked.

"I'm fine." I growl, looking at Eden but I caught Nate smirking from above.

"Pan, I think Nate has something to do with this." I gesture up to Nate as Pan saw him, turning back to Eden.

"I'll deal with him later. We need to get Eden out of here."

"And how will we do that?" I ask but I knew Pan was already way past that. He was probably planning where to burn Nate's body. Pan picks Eden up, who cried in pain.

"Get Nate to the cage. I'll deal with him later." And with that, Pan was gone.
