Eden's P.O.V.
I see Cora take a step back, Felix in the brush ready to attack as Peter's hand lingered on his dagger. I sigh, closing my eyes and running away from them down to a bolder above the sea. When I ever explained Rumple trained me in my magic-in which he was always there to help me say in case villagers or people tried hurting me-they slays saw me with fear but I never had darkness in me. I had some of the lightest magic Rumple has ever known."Eden come on." Peter called after me. I just crawl onto the bolder, wrapping my arms around my knees. I glance at Rumple to see him explaining to Peter about me. Cora comes to sit next to me but I only look away from her.
"Please tell me she's alright." I mutter.
"She made it safely to the real world. She's in a loving home with someone hopefully who will adopt her and raise her until she can get your family out of the curse."
"Adopted?" I ask, looking up at her in a puzzled way.
"She was in this place called foster care where children who's parents couldn't take care of them. They go through homes where parents love them but if things don't work, they go to a new home and the process starts over."
"What?" I look at her.
"The important thing is that you made it out of the curse, with your memories in the one realm you can stay safe in. You will see your sister again, but you need to give it time." She spoke softly. I look away from her, already missing my sister.
"Eden?" I look up, seeing Peter. I stand up, paying no attention to Cora. "Ready to go?"
"Yeah." I nod, letting him lead back into the jungle of Neverland. I said nothing, crossing my arms as I look at my feet.
"I'm sorry about that. I should have guessed you had magic." Peter broke the silence between us.
"It's alright." I mumble softly.
"Maybe some training will get you on your feet."
"Training? Like swords and crossbows?" I scoff.
"What did you expect?" Peter scoffs back.
"Just that. But I'm pretty sure I can kick your ass in a sword fight."
"Oh really? And how can you be sure of that?" He smirks at me.
"My mother was the most bad ass bandit and went from princess to bandit living her life hiding from the Evil Queen."
"Whoa whoa whoa, back up," Peter stops me in my tracks, looking at me with a shock like a kid who met Santa clause. "Your mother and father are Snow White and-"
"Prince Charming. Making me and my sister the product of true love and a bandit also meaning I can survive on my own. This place is just proof of that."
"Alright miss cocky. Then I hope you are prepared for this." Peter placed his lips on mine. I smile, resting my hand on his chest but I push back.
"We need to talk." I try to say but Peter doesn't listen, kissing my neck. I give in, tilting my head to the side.
"About what?" He smiled, finding my sweet spot as I'm forced to hold back a moan. I quickly push him away though, knowing we weren't going to get anything done with him on me.
"Look, I love you, like really like you. But I have a responsibility to my family. And I don't care if they're upset with me because I'm following my heart. It's been a lot coming from the curse on this island with all of this to take in."
"You need time, I understand. Just know I'm always here if you need me." Peter smiled, pecking my lips. I snake my arms around his neck, smiling warmly as I play with his hair.
"Don't worry, I'll come back to you."
Peter's P.O.V.
I watch as Eden sneaks down from the ladder, the sun not even have risen yet. She was one to always get up early which is what puzzled me. I sit by the fire which crackled lowly, sending off heat. Eden had no idea I was here since I had patrol with Felix last night. I guess she thought I was still out there. For the past week, Eden has been trying to get used to the island by joining the boys in hunting, games and training. She's even learned a few things from them and as I think about it, I never see her without the brightest smile on her face. We've stayed mostly professional but every now and then we can get a little carried away. I've been careful not to scare her off and Felix always rubs it in when I find her in the camp that I have a crush on her and it's only growing. I've also kept an eye on Emma as well and since time is different here, she's almost thirteen in the real world but she doesn't have it as easy as her big sister with moving in and out of homes being loved and then kicked to the curb. But I still can't tell Eden I'm watching out for her sister because of a reason I still don't know.
Something suddenly pressed to my lips and I smirk, kissing back with my hand in her hair. "How did you know where I was?" I smile into the kiss.
"I have my ways," She pushed me down to the couch, kissing down my jaw and neck. I groan, my eyes falling close as her hand runs up my shirt.
"I thought we were keeping it professional."
"No one needs to know." Eden pressed her lips on mine again as the conversation shut up, both of us desperately needing each other. Eden's nails scratched down my chest, goosebumps appearing on my skin. Someone suddenly knocks on the door, making us stop. Eden quickly got up, me sitting next to her as Felix bursts through the door.
"Hook," He said plainly. Captain Hook was a current visitor on the island but only for delivering things I can't get for the boys myself.
"Perfect. We'll need the supplies for winter." I get up, Eden tilting her head and furrowing her eyebrows. "Come on, love." I smile, taking her hand and helping her up. We walk up to Felix as we all head out the door.
"I don't understand. Why does....Hook need to come here?" Eden asked as we walk down the steps.
"He helps deliver supplies for us, weapons, tools, blankets, things like that." Felix explains as we reach the camp. I teleported us the beach, most of the boys helping get the crates to the shore and some peaking in already.
"Nice to see you back before the sea froze over, Captain." I smirk as Killian jumped onto the sand.
"Who's your friend." He gestures to Eden who stayed close to me.
"Eden," I said simply.
"As in....."
"Yes, that Eden." I growl, not wanting to bring up anything of her parents.
"Hey Pan, you might want to look at this." A boy said, making me turn to them. Eden, Felix and I head over to the boy who had a decent sized crate already opened. Looking in, a small grey wolf, light brown fur coating his fur. He looked at us, Eden's face lighting up. He had a collar around his neck and as I held it in my hand, I caught a name.
"Archer." Eden smiled in which Archer looked at her.
"Heard you had a special guest. My treat." Hook smirks, Archer jumping into Eden's arms. "Train him right and he'll grow up to protect you."
"I'm starting to like Hook." Eden chuckled, Archer already making himself at home in her arms.
"Easy, love. He comes off as nice but once you do something he doesn't like, you're on his kill list. It's what happened to my parents." I mutter the last part but Eden seemed to have heard.
"Come on, let's get back to the camp." Felix said. The three-four of us head back to the camp together as the day Hook killed my parents right in front of me replayed in my head.
