Felix's P.O.V.
I beat my wings as the three of us glided across the water, keeping a low profile to not alert the patrols most likely looking for my head on a spike. Borra flew over me while Juniper flew next to me, the three of us flying in a peace.

"Eden didn't want to come along?" Juniper asked.

"She can't. An old friend got a little too excited and burned her ankle. Pan's keeping her back." I answer as we approached the nest.

"You know we're not allowed in there." Borra reminded us.

"A chief can't be banned from his own nest. And brothers have special privileges." I smile at him.

"And what about old friends?" Juniper mocks.

"Just keep close and don't draw attention to yourself." We all flew in the into the nest, weaving through the endless tunnels like an ant tunnel. Flying into the small hut, I land on the soft carpet, tucking in my wings.

"Felix!" Winter smiled, getting up from her bed.

"Oh my gods, Winter what happened?" Jumpier asked, seeing that Winter looked like she was in a fight with scrapes and bruises all over her face, her lip split.

"Sam. He uh, tried um..." Winter searches for the right way to explain this but I already knew.

"He tried to get you into bed so he could make you his."

"That's not a law of the nest. The chief needs to pick his love and she needs to do the same. He can't force her." Juniper shook her head.

"In the dark ages, back when Maleficent was just a young fey, a chief had the say. He could pick and choose, even if the girl didn't want to. My father stopped it because he saw it was wrong that no man should ever have the only say in a relationship. Sam is bringing it back or at least trying to." Borra explained.

"Then what are we going to do?" Winter asked. I looked at her, sighing.

"I need to take him down. He's going to destroy what my family built and I can't let him."

"Alright as much as I'm all for taking Sam down, we have Eden down, my sister trying to kill us and you aren't even close to being ready. I'm not letting you go into a battle you know you can't win. So let's get out of here before he catches us and snaps your neck." Juniper snaps.

"I get it. Come on let's go." We jump out of the small hut, flying across the sea and out of sight.

Eden's P.O.V.
I Look out the window, seeing as the wind flew leaves and branches everywhere. Wind storms the boys called it and they sucked. I just hoped that Felix could get home safely.

Someone knocked on the door as Peter walked in. As far as me being bound to my bed, he's tried to come around as often as he can and changes my bandages, telling stories of the stupid boys and the fun of what happened. It only makes me miss the jungle more and he knows that. He's only trying to make it just a little less painful then it is. "What's new?" I smile, wanting to hear every little detail.

"Here, drink this." He hands me a cup that warmed my hands.

"What's in it?"

"Tea made from the best mint leaves on the island in which only I know the location of." He smiled, starting to undo my old bandages. I take a sip from it, a strong taste hitting my senses. I hold my hand over my mouth. It was good but the new taste made me gag. "Drink it." He growls. I try to force the drink down my throat, gagging.

"What was that because that is so not tea."

"It is, just with my blood mixed in." He tells me blankly.

"Ew! Peter!"

"You need it. And the taste will get better, I promise." Peter smiled at the last sentence. I knew better to argue since knows this from experience. I mutter something under my breath, drinking the tea slowly.

"So what's new?" I asked as Peter started cleaning the wound which caused me to hiss in pain. Peter kept my leg still, finishing cleaning.

"Nothing much. Just the wind storm coming in." Peter answered to me but I was looking for something else. "And no, Felix isn't back yet. But he'll come back. He always does." He convinced me. I look out at the storm, blowing a piece of hair out of my face. I wanted to get out of bed and to just go search for Felix and make sure he was alright.

Not in a creepy stalker like way but just as a really close friend way. He's helped me a lot and I want to return the favor.

"He'll be alright." Peter started bandaging the wound again.

"I'll believe that when I see it." I scoff. Peter finished bandaging my leg, sitting behind me as he kissed my head.

"He'll be back. If not, he probably just camped out somewhere to hide from the storm."

"How can you seem so calm from all of this? I mean he's your best friend and I'm more panicked than you." I glanced back at him.

"Because I know him. He's able to fight through anything. He'll get through this." Peter kissed my cheek. "Drink your tea, I'll be back in an hour to check on you." He whispers to me, standing up.

"Wait." I call him back over. Peter turned to look over his shoulder at me. I give him my puppy eyes, causing him to smile. Peter laid next to me, his arms around me. I huddle closer to him, closing my eyes as I fall asleep in his embrace.

Winter's P.O.V.
Felix led all of us back to his island, a wind storm sweeping its way throughout the island. It was hard to fly through the endless trees and obstacles for me, the wind just making it harder but my wings were strong enough to carry me the whole way. Felix of course had no trouble winding through the tree, finding places he could tuck his wings in just enough to keep himself up all the while looking back at me to make sure I could keep up with him.

As Felix glanced back at me, I chuckle. "My wings are stronger than you and your brother's combined. I'm fine." I smiled.

"I know." He smirks, turning back to the path. I beat my wings harder, catching up with him.

"So this camp? You live there?" I look at him.

"Yeah. Pan and I came here after the battle."

"We call it the Battle of Scars. It scarred all of us inside but for some of us, the scar won't heal."

"You'll need to catch me up on that since I don't know what's been going on in the nest." Felix smirks but I could tell he was nervous for some reason.

"Don't worry, I will." I smile back. We get back to the camp, no one outside but lanterns on inside tents that lined the border of the camp. Felix takes be to his tent, shielding us from the harsh winds outside. As we got into the tent, Felix tucked in his wings. Apart from two twin beds on opposite sides of the tent, there were a table in the corner with charts laid out. A small bookshelf, and other things from when his father ruled on the walls and around.

"Borra brought some of my dad's things back here." Felix explains, glancing at the necklace of a pair of wings hanging safely.

"You must miss him."

"Yeah, a lot. I keep wanting to go back and ask him why me? Why not give the title of chief to Borra who knew everything about the nest. Why give it to his little brother who can't even fight a Fey in a fight."

"Because he saw something in you that your brother didn't have. He saw you staying out of Sam's way and doing the right thing. He knew that you would keep the nest protected, not get into any fights with anyone weather it be the kingdom that attacked or weather it be someone who disagreed. But once someone you love got in harm's way, you fought to the death for them." Felix looked at me in shock. "I know the way you looked at me back in the nest. It may have been brief but why else would you protect a random Snow Fey?" I smile, kissing him shortly before pulling back.

It didn't take anything for Felix to kiss me back, wrapping an arm around me. I smiled into the kiss, gladly kissing him back as he broke the kiss.

"I love you Winter." He breathed.

"I love you too."
