Strange noises, still no lab

All the doctor did was giving me more medicine. That's what they always did. They gave me more medicine to keep me under control. After all, they couldn't have a crazy girl roaming around. When I was younger, I used to skip taking them. When my dad noticed, he was furious. After that day, he started to make sure that I actually took them no matter what.
When we finally got home, I realized what my dad meant. In the place where the door to my dad's study was gone. It was a blank wall. As if it never even existed.

I was put on bedrest for a while. I wasn't to be left alone until the hallucinations turned back to normal. I didn't understand why. This had happened before. Yet they had never reacted this was to it. They always just gave me more medicine and let me be. Was it about the lab? Did the lab even exist?

I needed some time to think. Whenever I tried to ask my dad about what exactly happened, he changed the subject or told me to go rest. I was so angry. No one was giving me a proper answer. I was by now convinced that they were trying to hide something from me. But i didn't know what.

That unknown man i saw with my dad visited a few times. He always asked about how I was doing and about the hallucinations. Dad told me that he was a psychologist and a co-worker of his. I didn't believe that even for a second. The questions he asked me was not the questions a doctor would ask. I would know. I've been surrounded by psychologists my whole life.

The creatures and the voices had stopped for a while. I think it was because of all the meds they gave me. Yet for the first time in my life, I wanted them back. I wanted to ask them questions about that goddamn lab. If it even existed in the first place.

I had so many questions. Questions that went unanswered. Again. I never really had the chance to inspect that now blank wall. My dad always managed to keep me away from it.
In the end, I decided that I had had enough. When my dad left for work, I left my bedroom and walked towards that wall. It seemed like a normal wall. Yet when I listened closely, I could hear a faint voice coming from the other side of it. I couldn't help but smile at that. I knew it! I knew that there was something there. But how was I going to reach it.

I don't really know why. But i decided to knock on the wall. As if i was expecting for someone to simply open a door. I thought that i heard a faint voice when I knocked. I couldn't understand what it was saying. So I pressed my ear against the wall and knocked again.

"Who's there?"

The voice belonged to a female. I was shocked. I didn't know what to do. With a shaking voice, i decided to respond.

"I-Im Alex.."

For a while, there was silence. I thought that I had imagined all that. But then, the voice responded.

"Come on in love, we've been waiting for you.."

What?
