When Death Comes Knocking

Chapter 6: First Solo Mission

(Death PoV)

I had just put my mask back on and left the room where Alex, Meghan and Sarah were at. I moved over to the Gym to start my training schedule, now that I can do this I don't need my Meds, I can keep myself busy to not think about it. That's when I noticed another SAS boy here, Ghost. I remember him from my SAS days, he was some of the few that actually understood what I was going through, simply because he went through it too. And he knew my name but chose to say Death instead. For respect I guess.

"Hey Death, how are you today?" he asked, he was one of the few I talked too so I responded, "Fucking brilliant, you know I am not British, I was American. You were the only one to find out. well I just told my sister I still exist." He looked at me a bit shocked, still with his Mask on but I could understand. He put his weights down and sat down.

"You have a sister?" he asked, in a confused tone, "Yeah, Meghan. Valkyrie." I responded, "Jesus I knew she had a brother named Y/n but I never put two and two together." He said. He stood back up and grabbed the Weights again. The intercom then spoke throughout the entire complex.

"Can Operators Ghost and Black Death please report to My Office."

We looked at each other and walked over, Hibana stopped Ghost on the way. "Be careful Y/n (Ghost)." She said with worry in her tone, "I will be Yumi, don't worry." He said. Once she walked away we continued walking, "Yumiko? I'm proud of you man." I responded with a slight chuckle, he quickly punched me in the arm.

We walked into Six's office and stood there, waiting for her to speak to us. "So Ghost, I need you to find someone and capture them for us. Once you do we can send in a team of ten into the building and capture the whole building. Here's your briefing, Jäger will be waiting." She said quickly, Ghost grabbed the file in her hand and set off to grab his stuff.

She then stared at me, "I need you to move into a different compound, silently, and eliminate every and all White Masks in the building, it is an old NATO training compound which the white masks have taken over. There will be information there on their other base's locations and next targets, as this place sometimes acts like a staging ground for nearby assaults. Here's the rest of the Briefing, Jäger is waiting."

I nodded and gave a quick salute, I then walked out and grabbed my stuff. I grabbed my weapons and said a quick goodbye to the three still in the living room. I have no idea what they have been talking about.

I ran up to Jäger's chopper and jumped in, Ghost and Jäger were having a good conversation before I arrived. "Did you know someone has burned Bandit's hidden stash? Mein Gott you should have seen his face. It was beautiful." He said laughing, whilst turning on different switches. "It was probably Twitch to be fair, they are getting together now, and he probably pissed her off somehow so she snuck it out and Burned it." Ghost said.

The flight was relatively boring, Ghost got off First and I got off Second. We was both in Poland. Fucking freezing I should have brought some form of winter clothing. I moved through the woods from my Drop point and towards the Training Grounds, I told Six I was going Radio silent, she acknowledged, and I moved in to view of a sniper tower, they weren't looking in my direction. I decided to climb the tower and take out the sniper and set up my DMR for Sniping. I waited for Anna to spot them for me, since she was on Cams now, in her voice the Firewall was "As useful as a chocolate Fire Door." So I knew the positions of every enemy in the base. So I started with the Snipers. 5 more towers, 15 more snipers. I silently started taking out the snipers in the Towers, then the snipers on the roofs. Now there was no more Snipers but I only had about 154 Bullets left for my DMR. So I moved on to be closer. I saw a team of two guards walking around. Chatting, being shitty guards as they had passed their dead comrades multiple times with out noticing. I took out my MP5K and set up to take them both out. and in a quick succession they both were on the ground dying.
