Chapter Nine

"Hello Reaver, we've got a lot to talk about, don't we?"

He looked at me and fear struck in his eyes, He back up to the back of his cell and shook his head violently "I am NOT helping you with this stupid mission to take down Jack of blades, go tell your blind little friend I am NOT interested!" I sighed before opening the door and walking up to him, "Who put you in here Reaver?" He took a deep breath before grabbing my arms tightly "The guards! half the fucking town thinks I'm crazy!" His grip tightened and, I winched in pain "They put me in here for killing that man, he wasn't alive anymore, believe me! His face was half-eaten and his eyes black and dripping red goop, I asked if he was joking "I called out his name, 'Mr. Reemoor?' I called but the gurgled and lunged at me and so I blew off his head, but the townsmen think I'm crazy!" I was suddenly pulled into a hug "He's going to destroy Albion!" I pulled back and stood "Then help us you've got the best shot in Albion Reaver!" He looked into my eyes for a lie or some sort of betrayal, he sighed and grabbed my hands "I'll help if you convince the guards to let me a free man after everything." I smiled to Reaver and tightened his grip on my hand "If I am being lied to hero I will kill you and everyone in that guild for a second time." My face dropped and I let go of Reaver's hand, I backed away to the door before preparing to exit "Its either you come with me or the guards will hang you for your crimes Reaver." I opened the cell door and walked halfway out, I sighed I knew he wasn't going to help I guess well have to make do with everyone we already have. "Wait, Hero I wasn't finished speaking to you, I Will help you take out jack if you let the guards drop this crime and allow me a free man again." I turned around and I smiled "Sure Reaver, but we best be off now this guard will return any moment..." Reaver took no time in grabbing my hand firmly and we teleported back to the guild.

I watched as he looked around seeing everyone he looked happy but he also looked like he was missing something "Where's Sparrow? Or did you guys leave her dead?" He looked at the others before he turned to me again "She's out with Theresa at Bowerstone Market they needed to pick up a few things." He spun around to see Gabriel standing behind him "I'm sorry, who are you I'm positive we've never met before and that'd be odd knowing I've been around for almost 2000 years?" Gabriel sighed "I'm Gabriel, and we've never met because I made it a goal to stay away from you Reaver besides I was never at Reaver's Reach because I preferred to travel, when I was the seer of this world, I passed it back onto Theresa besides if I didn't we all wouldn't be standing here right about now would we?" He sighed and shook Gabriel's hand firmly before walking over to Hannah and Garth, They seemed glad to see him again "There you are you old dog, What've you been up to all these years Reaver?" He smirked and sat down and they began joking and talking about life, I smiled and walked over to Scarr and sat down, "So, does it feel odd being back with your sister, I wish we were allowed to bring back--" He stood up and he walked away, I sighed I knew I wasn't welcomed here they were all using me for my magic, after this I swear I'll just go find that boat's man again and sail around the world with him besides he seemed pretty cool, I sighed and looked at Reaver again, he seemed fixated on the Cullis gate, I looked over and seen Theresa and Sparrow, Sparrow looked like she was about to cry her eyes out. I watched as Reaver stood up and walked hesitantly at sparrow, She suddenly sprinted at Reaver and he Caught her in a bear hug, they both broke out in sobs "I missed you my dear" She burried her face into Reavers neck "I missed you too" We all watched in Awe as they reunited I felt happy for them.

I sighed and looked back down at my knees I felt my eyes glaze over, "Now that we have everyone we must begin our journey to take out Jack, we must not let him grow any stronger or we will all die and Albion will we nothing but ashes as he rules over this land, rumor has it he located a powerful artifact that can make all our powers useless, we must go back to the spire tomorrow so rest up or go say goodbye to friends you've made." I looked at Theresa in shock but I knew this was to come "Also if you need to please upgrade your equipment" I stood up and headed for the Cullis gate "Where are you going?" I looked back at Garth and smiled "I need to go do something I'll be back soon I promise." I entered and teleported back to Bowerstone market, Once I reached it I ran to the docs and I seen the ship captian, I smiled and aparached the boat he seen me and his eyes lit up "Hello Anne! How are you today!" I got onto the boat and I embraced him in a hug in which he returned the hug tighter, "I'm good, I just wanted to say my goodbyes before I go and finish this quest, besides after I get done with it I think I'll sail the world with you... The other heroes don't really like me all that much anyways..." His face dropped a little but then suddenly lit up again "That's awfully tragic but if they don't want you to be around then yeah sail around with me, I have this awesome house in Oakfield inside a demon door I opened myself It's pretty cool we can live there and besides they won't be able to bother you there anyways!" I smiled and I followed him into his captain quarters "Do you like the outfit i gave you?" I nodded in response to him and he seemed happy "When you fight jack at the spire, I think I'm going to lock myself in my demon door and I wont open it until you finish your quest, I really don't want to die because I wouldn't want to miss you saving Albion!" I chuckled at him and we sat down on his bed "If you do die, I'll just bring you back and we can live forever together." He smiled, I rested my head on his shoulder and we just sat there vibing

I don't know how much time passed but when I came back to my senses It was almost midnight, the ship captain was asleep soundly I smiled he was so peaceful but I knew it was too dangerous for him to stay like this, I shook him and he awoke he seen me and smiled "Good morning Anne, how are you" I chuckled "It's midnight." He stopped and looked at me "Why did you wake me up then?" I sighed and stood up "It's not safe for you here, I will teleport you to your demon door and the second you get there I want you to close the door and tell it not to open to anyone, and to not open until jack of blades is dead, do you understand me?" He smiled and we hugged once again "Wait before you go can I do something?" I nodded and he grabbed my face and kissed me, he pulled back and I pulled him back in, we eventually were in a deep kiss, I snaked my arms around his neck and he tapped my thighs signaling me to jump, I did and he back me into a wall for more support, our kiss got even more deep, he adjusted his hands and dropped me onto the bed and we went back to the kiss immediately, I felt something hard and I smirked I reached my hand down and stroked him through his pants he growled and licked his lips and dove at my throat lapping and sucking trying to find my sweet spot, I felt hickeys and bruises starting to form, he bit and lapped the corner of my jaw, I gasped and he grinned and attacked that spot I let out a moan and he continued to attack at that spot, I sensed my neck was full of hickeys and bruises, he bit at my jaw, blood coming out, he sucked it and came up "Oh shoot, I'm sorry did I hurt you?" I shook my head no and he went to unbutton my shirt when I grabbed him "Wait it's not safe to drop our guard here, let's go back to your place?" He smirked and then nodded I took his hand and we teleported outside the demon door and he looked at it "Demon door I require a favor, when I enter this place I want you to shut and only open when I say so form on the inside, understand?" the demon door responded with a simple 'ok but anyone who leave form inside cannot re-enter unless you allow them too.' We entered the portal and it closed behind us, he looked at me and grinned, he grabbed my wrist and I followed, lust clouded my vision, and I personally didn't care about the quest as long as I was back by 5 in the morning I followed him through his house, it was indeed nice.

We went to the bedroom and I was thrown back onto the bed and he locked our lips again while talking off my shirt, I stopped him and I stood up "This isn't right... Garth's going to kill me." I looked at him and smiled sorrowfully "I'm sorry I just-- forget anything happened.." I straightened myself up and used my powers to heal the bruises and hickeys on my neck I looked in a mirror to make sure everything was alright and I turned around, he lunged at me in anger and pinned me to the floor "We started this now I'll finish this, you heroes think you can just use people then leave? I think not!" he pulled out a knife and lunged it at my chest, I caught him and threw him off "Your crazy lord knows if I stayed here and committed sin with you that you'd kill me in my sleep!" I casted one of my spells at him when he lunged at me again "Your crazy!" I kicked his unconscious body and I teleported to bower lake and cleaned myself from his stench I dried off and teleported to the guild almost in tears I arrived and almost everyone was asleep I checked my watch and it was 3:05 in the morning, jeez time flew by. I walked over to my spot and I laid down, I closed my eyes and I began drifting off, I felt someone lay behind me "Where were you everyone was worried." Garth...? But he's ignored me ever since we got Scarr and that's been a fat minute... "visiting a friend I accidentally fell asleep that's all." he sighed "I know your lying, and if he tries to hurt you ever again I'll kill him Anne." my heart sped up and I panicked "I'm sorry garth I don't know what happened..." he growled "I'll forgive you just don't do it again, besides, I didn't trust that guy ever since you met him that day on the ship to get Reaver." I sighed "I wont do anything like that again I promise." he smiled and kissed my forehead and I fell asleep in his arms I felt safe, but I kept my guard up I didn't feel safe here everyone hated me, "Also, nobody here hates you we just are stressed right now." I went red in the face, "Sorry, just-- Goodnight Garth." he tightened his grip like I Was gonna vanish "goodnight Anne."

I was scared, I didn't know if he was going to come back for vengeance, but I know he'll die trying but what if he tries to sneak attack? That'll suck--- I stopped myself from over thinking, I just held onto garth tighter and fell asleep, at least I know they don't hate me...
