Chapter 13

{3 years later}
I slid into the seat next to my step-brother Dillon. He slid my plate towards me and gave me a light kiss on the cheek. My mom walked into the room and set down the orange juice on the table.

"Good Morning sweetheart," she said with a warm smile.

Okay so most of you guys are confused. I'll let you in on a recap.

After I had left my family in North Carolina I moved in with my mom and her family in Indiana. It turns out that she has a step-son named Dillon Rupp and he just so happens to be Taylor's bestfriend.

My phone buzzed on the table and I quickly grabbed it to see that I had a Twitter notification.

I smiled at the tweet. Nash and I are still best friends after I've been gone for three years. He calls me or texts me everyday to make sure I'm all right.

My brothers and I don't really talk anymore. Once I left they eventually stopped texting or calling. Liam graduated high school and he got accepted to his dream college but when I tried to talk to him he ignored me. Aaron's been on tours and Justin's doing amazing in football.

I've talked to my mom and I've decided that I'm going back to North Carolina for my senior year.

Someone covered my eyes breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Guess who?"

"Uh Tay?"
The hands uncovered my eyes and I turned around to see Taylor standing there.

"You ready to go Princess?"

I nodded my head and hugged and kissed my mother goodbye as Dillon,Taylor,and I got in the car to head back to North Carolina.

Hayes's P.O.V

I stretched my arms yawning quietly as I sat up. I rubbed my eyes and unplugged my phone from my nightstand. I went on to Twitter to see that Taylor was on a road trip with some guy named Dillon and the girl of my dreams, Olivia.

My phone buzzed showing that I had a text from April, my current girlfriend. We've been dating since sophomore year.

I locked my phone and tossed it into my bed as I slipped out of my room and down the stairs. Nash was lounging on the couch smiling down at his phone.

"What's got you all happy," I asked walking past him into the kitchen.

"Oh just something Liv said."

The way he said made my blood kind of boil. I ran up the stairs and into my room grabbing my phone. I ignored the texts from April and quickly texted Olivia.

I read the words off the tiny screen and was honestly shocked. I didn't know she felt that way.

I threw my phone across the room causing it slam against the wall. I can't believe I let her go but then again that's what she wanted wasn't it. She wanted me to move on and that's what I had done.

Olivia's P.O.V
I can't believe he had the nerve to even text me after three years. I waited for him to text me when I first left but eventually I gave up. Im done with his bullshit.

Taylor swerved into a TacoBell parking lot.
"Dude where are we," Dillon asked while stretching his arms.

"We're about 20 minutes away."

I felt all the blood drain from my face. Am I ready to face them again? Am I ready to see Hayes again?
