Nova harboured no major concerns regarding the fact that Albus had dated someone. In fact, she herself had been fortunate enough to be in several relationships at Beauxbatons, only to realize that her heart had always yearned for the Potter boy.
In the same vein, Albus had found himself in a relationship, yet thoughts of commitment or progression never crossed his mind because the other person wasn't Nova.
Nevertheless, caution was an inevitable emotion, and upon discovering the identity of the girl Albus had been with, Nova's thoughts turned dark and tumultuous. The anxiety and anguish settled heavily upon her heart, but rather than concealing her feelings, she sought solace in confiding them to a person she trusted implicitly.
Nova's voice was tinged with frustration as she vented her feelings to Tobias, "I hate it," she expressed, placing a hand on her chest. "She didn't do anything wrong to me, but my mind just goes to all these unpleasant things about her."
Tobias's hand rested on her head, and he chuckled softly, understanding her dilemma. "It's just a natural thing," he explained. "It's called jealousy."
Nova's head snapped upward, a frown marring her face as she insisted, "No, no—I'm familiar with jealousy, and this isn't it."
