Part 3: Skipping Stones

Sunday

Grace stayed over the night and I asked her if we wanted to go to the park and invite Daniel, she agreed. So I text Daniel and asked if he wanted to come he said he will meet us at 1. Grace and I arrived at the park at 12:50pm we went to the river and waited for Daniel.

At about 1:15pm Daniel arrived

D: I'm so sorry Molly and grace, we had a bit of trouble finding the park

Then grace embarrassed me

G: well you made me sit here with Molly and all she kept talking about was what would happen if you didn't show up is it because he doesn't like me?!?!

I yelled at grace. My face went so red, but Daniel just smiled. We skipped stones for like an hour and i was by far way better than Daniel. We then decided to go sit at one of the picnic tables and just talk.

Daniel started to talk about where he used to live, he told us that California is such a busy place, he only just moved to California 1 month ago, so he's still getting used to everything. I told Daniel that grace and I are more than happy to show him around California.

Then these 2 short guys came up to Daniel and told him that he has to go back to the house. Daniel introduced us to the 2 guys their names are Zach and Jack. Grace and I both though that they were dating but they are just best friends, we couldn't stop laughing.

Any way we ended up walking back to the car park with them.

J: y/n, Daniel can't stop talking about you at home, it gets quite annoying, no offense you seem really nice"

M: thanks

I couldn't help but smile. Daniel overheard jack and kept his head down with his face was bright red. The boys left and grace and I got home

Oh and I almost forgot tomorrow is the first day of school yay...
