Sometimes I wonder what the world would be like without chocolate.
Sorry, you probably thought I was going to talk about something serious, but no.
I think if there were an award for the most fantastic snack, chocolate would win.
I mean, c'mon, when you are sad, take chocolate. It automatically lightens your mood.
Are you watching a movie? Are you doing some assignments? In for a long journey? Dessert after an excellent dinner? Cramps? Take chocolate! It helps everywhere.

Hey! I thought chocolate is not suitable for your cramps!
Argh! Shut up the voice in my head! We both know it works for us!
I know, but I don't think you should be recommending it to everyone!
Who is everyone? I thought this is a conversation going on in our head and not out loud?
Whatever! We both know you would have said it out loud given a chance.
FYI! WE ARE ONE! *mental eye roll

"Yoh! Paigey! You are doing it again!"
We have been sitting in my room for the last hour doing nothing specific. Nessa came up with me when Marco and Hunt decided they did not come for a mini-vacay to be distant. Ad and Zayne have been gone for a whole hour now.
A friend is throwing a party today, and they had to help set up while catching up. Nessa and I were too lazy to accompany them, so we decided to stay back and tan.
Unfortunately, it got too hot outside, so we decided to come back inside and play a little strip poker after we had changed out of our swimwear.

Strip poker was so fun until Marco is left in boxers only, and Hunt could no longer keep his hands to himself.
We did each other's hair after we went upstairs to chill on my balcony as Nessa had put it.
Music was, of course, blasting loud, and the breeze helped with the chilling out.
Nessa had a bottle of tequila while I stared at the quarter glass she had served me thirty minutes ago.
She kept telling me stories about her vacation and generally some boys who pissed her off all through it.
Being the right person that I am, I listened to the whole story keenly. Well, until she started complaining too much and I'd find myself thinking about irrelevant stuff except for chocolate, which is very much appreciated.

"Am sorry. I think that the whole vacation thing passed already, and you had so much fun, so you shouldn't let guys that you'll most probably never meet again get to your head. They were just hormonal striplings trying to get your attention."
She sighs loudly and then checks her phone, which will probably keep her busy for some time.

"Hey, Ad asks if we are getting ready for the party yet," she tells me while still typing something.
"We are going with them?"
"Duh! Unless you want to stay back alone," she gives me an I-know-you-would-but-humor-me look.
"But I didn't bring anything to wear to a party," yes, me. The whiny, annoying best friend who always wants to sit back and watch others have all the fun.
"I did," she says, putting her glass on the table before leaving. She will probably bring back the dresses and is precisely what she does.

I have the right dress to wear ten minutes later, and we both rush to shower. At least I know Nessa rushed. Lol!
I take my time in the shower, as usual, and by the time I get out, she has done her hair and makeup.
She doesn't even let me get my inner wear first before she begins my makeup. She is always so great at it, and I honestly don't know what I'd do without her.

I slip into my clothes as soon as Nessa is done putting me through torture. I can't complain since I find it hard to do my hair, but the pain she puts me through is a little bit too much.

I wear a black body con dress that has a cut on the left side of my torso. I look good with the dark makeup Nessa just did. My hair is let down with big waves making it look voluminous.
She hands me black heels that look tall, but she doesn't give me a chance to back out.

She has on a black dress too. Hers ends mid-thigh and has sparkly, silver embroidery all over.
She grabs a pair of silver heels and sits to put them on.
We are ready in a few minutes. I put my cellphone and wallet in my purse and we leave.
