Do I have to break someone's hand?

We sit and he serves both of us a generous amount of food. He, however, does not touch his, and I can feel him looking at me as I take my first bite. I can't help but let out a moan as my taste buds burst out of flavor. I see him shift a bit in his seat and decide to dig in.

"Will you finally teach me how to make it?" I ask looking up to find him shrugging his shoulders. I send him a glare that says 'not good enough.'  I know he caught it because he put his fork down slowly as if trying so hard to put words together.
"If I show you then I will not get the chance to see your excited face every time I make it for you."
he goes back to his food eating so fast you'd think he's inhaling it. I don't get time to ask why because my head is still on his answer. I admit it makes sense but what if I want to make it for him?

What the fudge are you saying, Paigey? I know we have just concluded that we like him, but, come on, cooking? You? Sweetie, even your eggs are almost never well cooked. Argh!
Yeap, she's still rude. I conclude as I continue filling my stomach. I'm halfway done when Zayne is already headed back to the kitchen. He comes back holding 2 glasses and a box of apple juice. He serves us both before switching seats to the one on my right.

"What if I want to make it for dad?" I try to get more words from him.
"Then you call me and I will make it for you. I won't have you calling to say you've burnt down your house to ashes," he says already reaching for my hair tie. It is unraveled in a second with the ends keeping him busy. I had actually missed this. He would do it every time he needed a distraction and I'd be mad after it was all tangled up and he would offer to brush it for me. Of course, it was shorter back then.

"Something smells nice in here," Ad says holding Nessa's hand. He lets it fall when he finds me staring at it.

"I really don't have a problem with that, A. I actually think it's about time. At least I won't have to watch you lie to yourselves, y'know." His shoulders tense a bit before he lets out a long exhale.

"I know I just think I have a few things to talk through with Nessa before you all put a stamp on it." I see Nessa smile at this and attempt to use her hair to cover her face.

"What about you guys?" She asks as she helps A bring out their glasses. "Did you patch things up? Because I have planned a really dope slumber party tonight and I need it to be fun." She is so excited that her eyes are sparkling.

"What is that godly aroma coming from here?" Hunt asks entering the kitchen. Zayne asks him to let Marco come in for early lunch. Hunt runs off and Zayne starts setting the table for everyone, not sparing me a glance.

They all finally sit and we get to eating as we discuss what we want to do in the afternoon. Marco is taking Hunt on a date while Ad and Zayne had the afternoon themselves. That left Nessa and me so we decided to go snorkeling.

Nessa and I collect the dishes while trying to pry the secret date plan out of Marco.

"I'm not telling you guys, especially you, Paige. Hunt will get it out of you in a second. That means then, that I cannot tell Ness because she'll come blabbering to you."

We both pout and he bursts out laughing.

"I will tell you how it goes, I promise. Even if I don't get some."

I gasp at his crudeness and splash him right after handing Ness the last plate.

He spurts out soapy water while I continue soaking him. He finally gets the water off his face and lunges for me. I slip trying to escape so I grab Nessa's cover-up tee but she's caught by surprise so she falls too. We end up on Marco who's whining on the floor.

"Oh wow! I didn't know you guys were into that. You should have said something earlier maybe we would've let you in for our bedroom time," Hunt says at the door. Zayne and Ad are standing beside him. While Ad looks amused and on the verge of bursting into laughter, Zayne's fuming looking at my back. Marco's hand is on my ass and the other, Ness is laying on.
