Filial Piety

It's our job, to be filial,
Especially to our parents.
They brought us up,
Went through all the hardships just to get us whatever we need.

School, Meals, Entertainment, Proper clothing's and many others..
When we're young,
They spent hours to teach us new things.

Bring us to school, buy clothes for us, get us a new toy..
The selfless effort, just to make us happy.
Providing us education, things we need/want,

Sometimes, more than enough.
They are contented, as long as we're happy.
Not a second thought,
About themselves..

When they're old,
They hold a walking stick.
Limping, back hunched, a head of white hair,
Still cooking meals for us and keeping the house clean.

As the days go,
You'll see that they're weak..
No longer strong enough to continue with what they use to do,
In the earlier days.

They took care of us, selflessly,
Not wanting any paybacks or rewards.
So, it's our turn..
Take care of them,
They'll feel proud of you.

Not just because of that,
But because it is only right..
Our parents brought us up,
We take care of them too, when they're old and frail.

The elderly,
They're adorable :)
If you realize..
They're really caring.

After all,
They've went through the most of life as compared to the others..
Their smile,
Genuine, pure and adorable.

Filial Piety,
It's important..
Use it,
And you'll find life really happy :)
