Zion sighed. He had enough sense to leave Mel alone. If Kékéli had said it once, she'd said it a million times, when a woman says she fine, she's not fine, but you just leave them be.
Zion went downstairs to join his roommates in their in-home studio, where it looked like Edwin was mixing something.
"Look who finally came to earth." Brandon said looking up from his phone.
"What' do you mean? I've been up for hours."
"Then why didn't you come down here and help us work?" Edwin asked with folded arms, giving off strong auntie vibes.
"Uhh... never mind I was asleep." Zion chuckled and went to sit down next to Austin. Brandon and Edwin rolled their eyes and went back to work.
"How's everything with Mel?" Austin asked.
"Fine, I guess."
Nick barges in their conversation with his own input. "Just fine. This is the first time you have been with let alone talked to the same female in the same week. I think you like her." Nick wiggled his eyebrows at the boy. Zion rolled his eyes and just shook his head.
"Nah. She got a nice ass body, but it's not like I'm tryna get with her." Zion leant back and sighed.
"Well why not? She seemed nice enough." Nick asked.
"She doesn't do relationships." Zion shrugged.
"She's literally the female version of you, Z." Austin chuckled.
"Nah she's way nicer than me and actually cares about shit, like school."
"Wow and you know facts about her, you must actually like her." Nick said shocked.
Zion just shut up after that not wanting to dig himself into a deeper hole. Truthfully he really liked Melanie as a person and he really vibes with her, but all she did was preach about how she hated dating and all of that. And it's not like he wanted to go out with Mel, but he wouldn't mind if they kept talking like they are now. He just hoped she wouldn't lose interest in him.
