Husk was currently having a terrible hangover, having drunk way too much alcohol last night as usual. Now he had a really bad case of the munchies. He dragged himself off of the couch where he had passed out and rubbed his forehead, nursing the pounding headache. The catbird demon then groaned and started trudging towards the kitchen to find a snack, his wings drooping and his tail dragging along the floorboards.

As he walked, a heavenly smell soon wafted into his nostrils and he stopped in his tracks. He pretty much started drooling and picked up the pace, his wings perking up a bit. What was that smell? It smelled amazing!

When he reached the kitchen, he peeked in and tilted his head slightly. There was some demon that he didn't know cooking something on the stove and he wasn't sure if he should confront you aggressively or passively. Either way, he wanted whatever you were cooking and he was going to get it.

Flicking his tail, he quietly padded into the kitchen so that you wouldn't hear him. As he got closer, he started looking over your features. He had to admit that you were kind of cute, but what kind of sleaze-ball like him had a chance of winning any girl over? Regardless, he was driven by the amazing smell and only went closer until he was nearly behind you.

You must've smelled the heavy scent of booze that was hanging around him because you immediately turned your head and shot him a slight glare. "Can I help you?" You spat a bit bitterly, flicking your striped tail.

He seemed taken aback by your tone and took a few steps back. "I... Um.. I just.... I just wanted to know what you're cooking. It smells really good and I was kinda hungry..." He replied, shrugging his shoulders. He seemed pretty sheepish, but his voice made him sound more sinister than he looked.

You sighed and loosened up a bit, letting your shoulders sag. "Hangover munchies, I'm guessing?" You asked, giggling when he nodded. You liked how his ears flopped when he did that. He was cute. "Okay. I'm making some oatmeal with cinnamon and brown sugar, I'm sure it'll help."

He eagerly watched you pour him a bowl, immediately scarfing it down as soon as you gave it to him. You could tell that he absolutely loved it and wanted more, so you gave him another bowl. Although this wasn't exactly what you were expecting to see at a job like this, it was a pleasant surprise.
