Chapter nine:Changing

After the Agent made arrangements and talked to Fury softly about it,Fury then turned to look at Brooke."Brooke,come back in a week.We'll arrange plans for you then"Fury said.Brooke nodded,noticing it was midnight already in Midgard.Fury then told Agent Hill to lead Brooke outside.
Maria Hill lead Brooke outside of the S.H.I.E.L.D Headquarters.Brooke thanked her,and then waited for Thor to arrive for her.
Thor soon came and then took her back to Asgard.As they walked down the hall to Fandral's room,Thor asked what they had told her and did to her."Well,they tested my suit and necklace,then my speed,and then my magic.After all that was finished,Fury told me to be there back in a week"Brooke explained to Thor.Thor nodded.
"Alright then.Get some rest Brooke"Thor said.Brooke nodded and then smiled softly.
Thor smiled back and then walked off to his room.Brooke opened the door and then walked into Fandral's room,shutting the door.Fandral,who was taking off his armor,turned to look at Brooke.Brooke grinned at him and then ran towards him.He chuckled as Brooke jumped onto him and hugged him tightly."I missed you"Brooke said softly as Fandral hugged her.
"I missed you too"Fandral said and kissed her forehead.Brooke smiled and then blushed.
"Let's get some sleep"Brooke said.Fandral nodded and then carried Brooke up in his arms.Brooke giggled as he smiled and lied her down."Oh,your clothes?"He asked,looking down at her suit.
"Oh,yeah"Brooke said,and then used magic to form a tank top and booty shorts.
Fandral then lied down next to Brooke and bit his lip,looking at Brooke's good looking body.Brooke blushed,noticing this and then covered herself,embarrassed and shyly.Fandral then quickly turned away and blushed embarrassed.
Brooke bit her lip and then turned to look at Fandral.she then wrapped her arm around Fandral's waist and snuggled her head into Fandral's back.Fandral blushed and smiled like Brooke.He then held her hand and fell asleep with her.

A week later,Brooke,Thor,and Fandral headed to the S.H.I.E.L.D Headquarters.They then walked into Fury's office."One of you two can go.I only need one to stay with Brooke"Fury said,turning to look at Thor and Fandral.Fandral and Thor then looked at Brooke.
"Can Fandral stay?"Brooke asked Thor.Thor nodded and then headed out of Fury's office."Brooke,One of my agents have made arrangements for your ice powers.We were thinking about changing them instead to fire powers"Fury suggested.
Brooke raised an eyebrow."How are you gonna do that?"She asked."We'll connect you to a machine that transmits fire stone into your body."Fury answered shortly.Brooke nodded,understandingly."Will we do it today?"She asked.Fury nodded."Alright then"She said.Fury then lead Brooke to the room,being followed by Fandral.They soon got to a room where scientist were in and walking around or either helping with some machine.Fury told agent Maria Hill to stay with Fandral while one of the scientist lead Brooke to a bed like metal object.
The scientist(Dr.selvig)told Brooke to lie down.Brooke nodded and then lied down.Then suddenly some sort of clear-purple force field formed around Brooke.brooke relaxed as Fandral watched closely.Then Dr.Selvig gave Brooke a few shots,and gave her some in her wrists.He kept them there,and put bandaids over them to keep them from falling.
Brooke winced as he did.Then he strapped her down.He then walked to the machine that were connected to the shots,and grabbed the switch."Ready?"He asked Fury.Fury nodded,and then folded his arms behind his back.Dr.Selvig then turned the switch.At first,Brooke felt no pain,but then she soon started to feel stinging in her wrist.Then the pain traveled to her arms,and then down her whole body.Brooke winced at the pain a little.
Suddenly,Brooke felt this terrible pain rushing through her body.Tears started rushing down her face in pain.She balled her fists in pain.The pain got to its strongest point soon.Brooke gasped and then yelped in pain.She soon started to scream.
Fandral's eyes widened as he noticed that holes of very small flames started to form in her suit.He started breathing heavily as he heard her whimper and scream."W-what's happening to her!!??"He asked,trying to run over to her.But then a few men held him back."She's gonna be alright"Agent Maria Hill said softy to Fandral.
Fandral bit his lip nervously.Brooke then threw her head back as the pain slowly started to fade.Her cheeks were red as tears streamed down them.She then started to catch her breath as the pain left.
Fandral ran his hand through his blonde hair nervously.Dr.Selvig then turned off the machine,and un strapped Brooke.He then took out the shots from her wrist.Brooke closed her eyes as she took deep breathes.Her suit was now filled with small holes that flames caused.Fury then slowly and sadly walked up to her."Brooke,it is not my intention to put you through this pain,but I had to in order to change you"Fury said softly.Brooke stayed quiet as she could still feel the pain lingering through her now sore body...
Fury then turned to Fandral."Take her back to Asgard.Take care of her and use this to heal her wounds"Fury said to him,handing him some sort of cream.Fandral nodded,and then slowly walked towards Brooke.He gulped sadly,and then slowly carried Brooke into his arms.Tears rushed down Brooke's face in pain as Fandral lifted her up.He then quietly walked out of the S.H.I.E.L.D Headquarters.
He then took himself and Brooke back to Asgard,and walked to his room.He slowly and gently rested Brooke on his bed and shut the door.Brooke sobbed silently as Fandral quickly took off his armor."B-Brooke,I'm going to need to take off your clothing"Fandral said with a shaky voice.....
