Y/N's POV

I tried to get up from the bed but I think I can't.

Maybe because it was that potion's side effects that made me weak.

"Oh, you wanna get up?" Yangyang asked me as I nodded.

"O-oh, here..." Yangyang helped me sit up on bed, fixing the blanket up my body as I look at him.

I averted my eyes from him and focus on the necklace instead as I point at it.

"Oh...this?" He asked me and I nodded.

"It's beautiful, right. I actually don't know who gave it to me..." He trailed off.

"But I bet it's the person who saved me when I was drowning gave me this. I was 3 back then and when I woke up, I already have this on...but I wanna thank whoever that is who saved me, that's why I'm keeping it on forever to show them how thankful I am" He continued as I smiled at him.

I was about to say that I'm the one who gave that to him but the words won't come out.

My smile suddenly disappeared as I tried to say those words again but it's not working.

W-what happened?

Where is my voice?

"So what's your name?" He asked me.

I tried to talk again but no sound is coming out.

"H-hey, what's wrong?" He asked me.

I used my hand gestures again and tell him that I can't talk.

"You can't talk?" Yangyang said unsurely as I quickly nodded at what he said.

"So you're mute..." He said to me as I nodded.

"Okay..." He smiled at me.

I swear to the whole universe that he got the sweetest smile.

"Yangyang, I found an old dress of mine and I think it will fit her" A woman came inside the room.

It's his mother.

"Oh, you're finally awake..." She said to me as I smile at her.

"Here's a dress, go wear it..." Yangyang's mother said to me as she handed me the dress.

H-how to wear it...

I always have dreamt about wearing a beautiful dress but I seriously don't know how to wear it.

I stare at the dress silently as I look at Yangyang.

"O-oh, you want me go?" Yangyang said shyly as he got up from the bed and walk out of the room.

"Okay, I'll leave you alone too-" Yangyang's mother said as she's about to leave the room when I hold back her arm to stop her from leaving.

"What is it, honey? Do you need anything?" She asked me.

I used some of my hand gestures again to tell her that I don't know how to wear a dress.

"You don't like the dress?" She asked me as I shake my head "no".

I continued to do some hand gestures until she finally gets it.

"You don't know how to put on a dress?" She asked and I nodded.

"Oh uhm, well..." She picked up the dress beside me on the bed and put it over my head.

She also lifted my arms up and place it through the holes on the other sides of the dress.

She fixed my dress as she backs away from me.

"It looks perfect on you, you look gorgeous..." Yangyang's mother said as she looks at me.

So this is how it feels like wearing a dress.

"Well, I have to go now, I'll tell Yangyang to get you a glass of water and medicine" She told me and I nodded.

I was left alone in the bedroom when I decided to remove blanket that was covering my legs.

Ah! The human legs!

I smiled happily as I stare at it and started to caress it.

"Hey, I'm back, here's the glass of water if you're thirsty..." Yangyang said as he came in the room and place down the glass of water on the nightstand.

I move around the bed so I'm now sitting on the edge of it as Yangyang watches me.

I tried to stand up with my two feet on the floor as I did it.

I stared at my feet so happily that I was moving.

I can walk...

I-I can walk!

I tried to walk in a normal speed like what humans do when I suddenly trip but luckily, Yangyang got me.

He held my waist as I place my hands on his chest and look up at him to find him looking down on me.

We both started to get red and shy as we both pull away from each other.

"U-uhm, do you want to go have breakfast with us? We haven't start eating yet..." He asked me and I shyly nodded.

My first day in this human world...
