Speed Demon

It Begins

I run through the city then I stop at the park. "MONITOR!!!" I yell hoping he'll answer my call. He appears behind me, "I don't have time for this." I turn around, "you have some explaining to do. Am I about to cause a crisis or am I stopping one?" "What you are doing will save billions of lives." "I find it hard to believe considering how easy it is to stop the speed void or whatever I'm about to do to it." "Believe me speedster, you are saving lives." "Yeah, you already said that and I'm still not believing you. I need actual proof that I'm doing the right thing." "You were not created to do the right thing." "Then why am I helping you?" "Because this isn't just you. It's the whole multiverse." I breathe heavily to show him I'm irritated. "Mar Novu, if I do this I'm doing it to save the multiverse?" "Yes." "Fine, I'll get what I need and stop the speed void."

I run in the lab with weird luck that no one is here and the alarms didn't go off. I grab all the things I need then I run out before anyone sees me. I run to an abandoned house then I start constructing the machine I need.
     Four hours later, I finally have it finished. I'll have to figure out how to throw lightning at it so it can work properly. "Time to stop this void," I say before I run off to the alleyway. The void looks a whole lot bigger than before. It's covering almost all the buildings and road. I see Flash looking at the monstrosity. He turns around to face me, "what are you doing here?" This is actually perfect. All I need to do is try to get Barry to throw lighting at the machine somehow. "I came to make sure you don't do something you'll regret." "Like stopping this void THAT YOU BROUGHT FROM YOUR EARTH?!!" My eyes widen. He continues, "that's right, I know you're from another earth. It probably got destroyed because of the speed void didn't it? YOU JUST DOOMED INNOCENT PEOPLE!!!" "I DIDN'T HAVE A CHOICE!!!" "YES YOU DID AND YOU CHOSE TO BE A COWARD!!! RUNNING AWAY FROM YOUR PROBLEMS!!!" "Isn't that the whole point of being a speedster, Barry? To run?" Flash starts running around in circles. I was confused at first but now I realize what he's doing. He's going to do exactly what I want him to do. I quickly put the machine in front of me right before he throws the lighting. The lighting hits the machine causing it to activate. "What the hell." Barry says. I grab the plug from the machine and stab it into the void. The void slowly starts to disappear. Barry watches it all be absorbed in the machine I made. "What did you make?" Flash asks. I turn the machine off, "the void was based off the speed force so the only way to get rid of it was to fight fire with fire. I made the power source of this device to be the speed force which luckily you helped provide." "You stopped the void, why?" "Because this was never the real plan." "What plan?" I run off with the machine instead of staying to answer.
I put the machine down then I smash it into pieces. The Monitor shows up out of nowhere, "good job but it's not over yet." I take my mask off, "I know it isn't. I figured it out." He looks confused but he knows exactly what I'm talking about. "It was you who made the void. You created it as a distraction so you could get your real plan in position." "My plans involve saving the multiverse." "You can cut the saving multiverse crap. I know who you truly are. I don't know what you're planning but I know what your real intentions are and you reach them." "I've already reached my intentions. Now that you figured it out you're irrelevant." He opens a portal behind me and pushes me in. "What I'm doing will save lives," the monitor says before walking away.

I'm sorry it took me so long to get this done. I was really unmotivated so that's why it's so short. I hope you at least somewhat enjoyed reading it. Get ready for the crisis.
