Chapter 7

Third person POV.
Time skip.
3 days later.

Ruby didn't tell Wade or Damon about her hearing their conversation about her not being related to them and all the other stuff they had talked about.

She had act the same why she did before hearing about it. Through those days she had thought everything over and over and over again.

She understood why Damon didn't tell her. She had cried when she went to the camping bathroom. After crying she would went back out and act as everything was ok.

But she understood why, she just... couldn't believe it.... well in a way. She had thought about everything.

Damon was right when he said that he had watched her more then Wade and she can clearly see when he had watched her more then Wade. How did she not even realize that Damon was watching her more.

She had thought it through, she couldn't be mad at them. They were trying to protect her, and she was happy for that. She will always love and call her brothers family. She didnt like how long it took for Damon to even bring up the whole thing to Wade.

Damon felt like shit.

Ruby had moved on about how she wasn't really relate to them. She felt sad about that. But she knows that Wade and Damon wouldn't leave her.

Ruby has been thinking about meeting Bruce Wayne. Her soulmate. She felt giddy everytime she thinks about him... even though she had never met him or even seen a picture of him... but she has heard about him.

Everytime her mind would wonder her cheeks would end up red. She would have to end up looking sway and put the window until her cheeks had calmed down.

"Wow I can not believe that we are almost there. This is going to be so cool" Damon said. Ruby looked out the window and smiled at Him.

She was back in front as Wade was passed out in the back. "Yeah this is going be cool" she said. Damon smiled, but deep down he wanted to crumble too. He felt like shit for keep lieing to her. Lie to her about everything.

"Rub-"
"I all ready know.... I was awake" Ruby said. She looked over to Damon with a small smile. "What?" Damon asks. His whole body was frozen in fear. His did not leave the road.

"I had woke up before the conversation had started. I just rested my eyes.... I didn't mean to.... listen in... but it was kind of hard not to" she rambled on. "I also didn't know what to do. If I should wake up and have the conversation then, or wait.... until you bring it up again" she added on.

Damon hands were tightly around the steering wheel, "I'm sorry" he said. "It's fine.... I understand.... it took somedays to understand that. I'm not mad.... I'm sad that you had waited this long... because we both know we are smart enough to handle this" Ruby said. "But again I understand why. You can't just come up to me and say 'hey were not related to you. Your actual the daughter of Rose and Lex Luther" she rambled on, "Like yeah that would be hard. So I do understand that. But why take so long?" She asks. "We-" she cuts Damon off, "Well I understand it. I understand why you didn't. I would have probably did what you were scared of..." she adds on.

She was out of breath, "Can you breath?" Damon said. Ruby giggled, "Sorry.... I just want to say that I'm not mad at you for not telling me. I am sad.... but still I will always think of the both of you has my family" she said.

Ruby POV.
I look over to Damon and gave him an insuring smile. "I'm sorry for not telling you sooner... we just needed to make sure that you were safe." He said. "It's ok... at least you don't need to tell me" I said.

Damon chuckled and shake his head, "Well what are you going to do?" He asks. "What?" I asks. "What are you going to do when you meet Bruce?" He smirked out.

"I......... I have no idea" I said. My fingers played with my longed sleeved shirt. I keep on thinking about what I'm going to do.... He can't know that I'm his soulmate. Of course he doesn't.... wait.... he does... Damon showed him the picture of us.... and he wouldn't stop.... staring.

Shit he does know it's me.... but does he know I know that he is my soulmate? Probably not.

What am even going to do when I see him...? meet him. Am I going to freeze like Wade had said before. But I already know it's him, so why would I freeze? Wait what would I even say to him.

I could say hi.... ok maybe there is something else I could say.... but what could I say?
