Chapter 1

Ruby POV.

"Come on kid wake up!"
I open my tired eyes and looked to my right. My older brother stood there shaking me awake. "It's time to get up, the moving trucks have already left" he said.

"Ok, I'm up" I said groggy. My brother got up and left the room.

Small time skip.
After quickly shower and brush my teeth I got changed and left my empty room.

"You ready to go younger twin of mine" Wade my older twin asks. He is only 2 MINUTES OLDER THEN ME. 
"Yeah, can't wait for the drive there" I said grabbing a bottle of orange juice, then sat down at the table. I grab a muffin from the table and open the plastic wrap, I take a bit of it. "After eating we will go"

Wade is my twin brother, he is 2 minutes older then me, he has brown hair and brown eyes, just like me. Then I have 1 other brother and he is older. Hes 27 years old. His name is Damon.
Our parents were murdered in front of us by some crazy guy. Who hasn't been found or seen since that day. Wade and I were 6 years old when it happen, Damon was 17 at the time.

Damon took on the roll has Dad and Mom. He was in a couple relationships that helped a lot, but they never really lasted. But the good thing is that he has found Sara. Shes 26 years old. She lives in Gotham City. She was prompted at her job, and now she wants us to come and live with her since both Wade and I finished school. We skipped a grade or two.
Damon met her when he was 22 years, she came to visited a family member and ran into him. And when I say ran into him I actually mean ran into him. He was taking Wade and me and my dog Bud for a walk at the park. And at one point someone ran into our older brother and is was her. After that they went on dates and then started dating. Now it has been 5 years and they are still together. Shes a big help since I didn't have a mom and Damon didnt know a lot about the female body and the female problems we get. But Damon tried, and that's fine with me.

Most of it has been long distance but it lasts when your both soulmates.

Soulmates are your other half. You want to protect them, love them, hold them, basically keep them in your life forever. They mean everything to you. There is multiply ways to 'find' your soulmates. There is there name written somewhere on your body. There is one that you can't see colors until you meet them. Then there is a timer one. Theres a red string one that attaches to your pinking finger. I have the tattoo one. When your close to your mate your mark with itch and burn. It also hurts a lot.
Also with soulmates is, that you can reject them or except them. You or your mate could fight for you to except the bond.
I don't think I'll ever reject my mate.

"So I didn't tell you, Sara and I bought land, semi out of Gotham City. She has always wanted a farm that has a good amount of animals on it" Damon said.
"That's sounds cool"

Sara works at Wayne Enterprises, she works on the same level as Bruce Waune, she is actually great friends with him. Damon has met him. But we lever did. But I guess since we will be moving to Gotham we could meet him.
Damon works at a animal shelter. He has been moved to a bigger animal shelter in Gotham. He helps rescue animals. He sometimes gets me to help in tight situation. I don't mind. Damon also takes home the ones that needs the most attention.
But is probably going to be different since it is bigger then the one he used to work at.

"Is it hunted?" I asks. "What?". "Is the land hunted?" "No-no... actually don't know" Damon said. I look over to Wade with a goofy smile, he had the same goofy smile on his face.
"Awsome" we both said. We both laugh, that makes Damon chuckle and walk out of the room. "When we are on the road, we will stop at a store and gas station and get some snacks.

Wade as a soulmate, but he hasn't met them yet. His mark is on his upper arm.

Mines bigger, it's on the side of my left breats.

Both of us are excited to meet our mates. Our dad and mom were mates, Damon and Sara are mates. We are next. We just never met them. We don't know who they are, they could be anyone.

"Ok" I yelled out. Our mom and Dad were rich, so when they died, we got all there money and all the stuff in the house. Through the years after there deaths we slowly cleaned up the house, sold all the stuff we didn't need. We got a good amount of money back from everything.

Small time skip.
We got into the car and after Damon locked the door. "Ok ready kiddos?" Damon asks. I roll my eyes and nodded my head. I'm sitting in front for half of the day, then Wade. The ride to Gotham will take 4 to 6 days to get there. It's going to be annoying but fun. It's good that we have a good sized trailer that is hooked up to the back of our Van.

"Ok so we will go to Walmart to get the drinks and snacks, make sure we get what we want for dinner. What do you both want for dinner?"

"Pizza!". "Pizza!" We both yelled out.

"Ok pizza it is" we pulled away from our old house, the place dad and mom were killed in.
