Everyone was petrified of thunder and storm and if money were capable of making both disappear then everyone would be willing to pay for it.
Kongpob personally hated the sound of lightning, it made him feel anxious. Although he was more to an introverted kind of person who treasured his own space, he would avoid staying alone in this kind of weather. Usually, he would invite his friends to come over or cuddle with his P'Arthit all day until the rain stopped.
Stirring the black coffee in his mug, Kongpob's thoughts went all over the place once again. He was too busy spacing out he failed to notice that he nearly spilled the drink due to his careless and harsh way of stirring. When he was finally snapped back to reality, he stared at the coffee for a good ten seconds and sighed.
"It looks so plain and lifeless, just like my soul." muttered Kongpob to himself.
After preparing the drink, he turned on the stove to cook some breakfast. He wasn't so good at this but at least he knew a few really basic recipes just enough to feed his empty stomach. Whenever he cooked, the ingredients went all over the place; the kitchen's counter, in the sink, beside the stove, you name it but he couldn't care less. Usually, his P'Arthit would be the one in charge of this. That thought pained him and he smiled bitterly at the memories.
Anyone looking at him could tell that Kongpob Suthiluck was slowly becoming something he was not. He has changed but not in a good way.
He started skipping classes, he still completed the assignments but they aren't that great. He needed to redo most of it. He stopped taking care of his appearance, those prominent dark circles under his eyes were no joke, he didn't bother styling his hair up and if he woke up late, he would just run to his classes with bed hair, the wrinkles on his uniform look like they have spent a few extra hours in the dryer. He stopped going to the hazing activities and even went as far as giving up the prestigious title as a head hazer and passed the throne to his friend, Wad.
His lecturers and close friends seemed to notice this exorbitant change of his but none actually had the guts to say anything. Gossips about Kongpob splitting up with his secret lover of 3 years became the talk of the campus but the former campus moon had yet to address the issue. Everyone was aware that their beloved campus moon was seeing someone and even living together with his other half but no one knew the true identity of this hidden significant other of his. Some said it was a fourth year medical senior, others stated that this person had already graduated from university and was now working, some sources claimed that it was Kongpob's childhood sweetheart but then again nobody knew the truth.
Being the now unbothered mess he was, he saw no point of having the need to entertain those stupid rumors about his. Kongpob ignored the murmurings and judging looks others threw at him every time he walked by.
Kongpob checked his phone and sighed in relief when one of his professors informed him about canceling today's morning class. He was too lethargic to leave the house and was actually planning on skipping the said class. Now that he got nothing to do, he cleaned the kitchen and went upstairs to continue sleeping. Just when he was about to close his already heavy eyelids, the doorbell ringed. Kongpob groaned and cursed out loud.
"Fuck! What now?!" on his way down, the male kept chanting on every curse words he knew. Reaching for the doorknob, the door opened to a smiling Em that looked too guiltless despite the fact he had just ruined Kongpob's sleep.
"What the fucking heck do you want?"
"Aww, it seems like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed again." Em said, still with that huge ass grin plastered on his face.
