I headed toward the living room to find Chris and ask him what he need me for.
"Over here," Chris called from his bedroom.
I walked all the way back and entered his room.
"What did you need help with?" I asked ready to just get it over with and leave before he asked any questions.
"Who was that on the phone?" Chris asked cutting to the chase.
"Keep your nose on your face where it belongs," I said laughing nervously.
"Why were you lying about me being your brother?" He questioned.
"Fine I was messing with Rose's cousin," I lied. "If I told her it was Chris Brown her and her fellow Chris Brown fans would take the first flight here and mob your house. We wouldn't want that would we?" I said sounding pretty convincing.
He chuckled. "That makes sense," He said totally buying my little lie.
"So what did you need me for?" I asked.
"I couldn't decide which beat to use for my latest track so I was thinking you should help me out," Chris said.
"Okay let me get a listen," I said pointing to his headphones.
I slipped them over my ears and listened to three different beats. I picked the first one because it had a dance able vibe to it.
"Thanks," Chris said.
"No problem," I said heading toward the door.
"Jasmine," I heard Chris say from behind me.
"mhm?" I said stopping in my tracks and turning around.
"I'm sorry about last night," He said.
I smiled. "It's alright," I said.
"What do you say we hang out tomorrow, you know as friends. If we're gonna have to live together for the next 6 months we might as well stop ignoring each other and at least become friends," He suggested.
"I'll think about it," I said smiling.
Chris smiled big as if I already said yes.

I woke up the next morning and the smell of pancakes filled the house.
My stomach growled loudly.
I jumped out of bed, brushed my teeth and fixed my hair. I didn't bother to change out of my Pj's because I didn't plan on going anywhere today. I planned on telling Chris I'd hang out with him as long as we didn't have to leave the house because I just wasn't in the mood to go outside today.
"That smells good," I said as I entered the kitchen. "I didn't know you could cook."
"I used to help my mom make pancakes all the time when I was younger," Chris said. "To be honest it's the only thing I know how to make."
I looked at the garbage next to him with about five burnt pancakes tossed into it. He saw me looking and we both laughed. I think it was cute that Chris was making an effort today. I missed this side of Chris. I thought I would never see it again but I was wrong.
"Have fun cooking, I'll be in the living room if you need me," I said leaving him alone to cook.
I curled up on the couch with a fleece blanket that was on there and flipped on the TV. Once again I didn't even need to change the channel because it was already on cartoon network.
Chris brought me a plate of pancakes after a few minutes and we sat silently and watched TV and ate our pancakes. It wasn't an awkward silence like its been for the past few days. When we finished our pancakes I offered to help Chris clean the kitchen since he destoryed it with his cooking but he said that could wait. I guess he was loving the moment as much as I was.
