Meanwhile in school...

"Hyung!" Sehun tapped my back.

"Wae?" I asked, bewildered.

"Is she a new kid? She's pretty~" He blushed.

I squinted my eyes to that girl Sehun pointed at. Hmm, she's very familar....oh wait, is she Hyejin?

"It's Hyejin." I announced.

"Bwoh?! That's Hyejin?!? Did she do plastic surgery overnight or what?!" Sehun asked with his mouth hanging open.

"Duh. She's pretty huh? Why don't you be her boyfriend then, muhahaha. " I chuckled.

He gave me a sour look and gave me a hard slap on my shoulder.

Both of us went to look for the other guys but it seems that they're all busy with their teachers except Baekhyun. So, the three of us headed for lunch together at the canteen.

"How's the date yesterday? "Baekhyun asked while eating his tteoboki.

"It isn't a date okay. " I answered.

Sehun explained those details to him and while he was doing that, I sneaked a peek at Hyejin. She seemed happy with her friends this time. To be honest, she looked gorgeous now. So pretty that lots of guys are hitting on her.

"Hyejin-ah, you're so pretty! Kyeopta ~" Sungjae complimented.

He used to be my good friend but one day, he betrayed me by spreading a rumor that I cheated in my ex-girlfriend, Yeon Soo who's the queen of the school whom I seriously loved a lot. The reason he did this is because he was jealous that I'm with Yeon Soo. Anyway, I've moved on and she went to the states to further her studies..

"Omo! Kamsahamida, Sungjae oppa!" Hyejin blushed.

All of a sudden, I felt a wave of anger in me.

"Free in the afternoon?" Sungjae asked.

"Erm... I think-" She got interrupted.

"Mianhae, Sungjae-ssi. I agreed with her for a date. Pick another day then." I sternly said as I walked towards him.

All eyes were on him and me. It seemed that we are fighting desperately for a girl. Yeah, why did I even feel angry when Sungjae asked her out on a date? Am I falling for her? NO I CAN'T.

I dragged Hyejin out of the canteen thereafter.

"Yah! 야!!! What's wrong with you?!" Hyejin demanded, " You ruined my chance to go on a date with the most handsome guy in campus! "

"Bwoh? Handsome guy in campus? Is the person you refer to is me, the most handsome guy in campus? " I chuckled.

"You wish! He's such a sweet natured guy and I believe he is asking me out genuinely unlike you!" She shot back.

"What the heck, seriously?! I asked you out GENUINELY OKAY. " I replied.

"Quit your game man. I know you either got a dare to date me and stuff. You know why I know so much? You never asked a girl out before, it's always the girl asking you out! So go on dating with other girls cause I'm a nerd anyway, isn't that what you said before? " She said and stormed off.

How did she know? it must be Sungjae! That horrible guy, only wanting to ruin all of my relationships. I'll never allow you to ruin this one! Take my word for that Kang Sungjae!

Flashback to the early morning (Hyejin's POV)

Omona ~ I'm so nervous!! Meeting Kai in school soon, omo!! Thoughts of yesterday's little hangout are still fresh in my mind. I walked towards my locker and saw two figures close together, hugging at one corner. Out of curiosity, I walked nearer to check it out.

Oh.My.Goodness.

It's Kai with Lee Hwayoung! Why are they so close? HUGGING IN PUBLIC?!

Before I turned back, Hwayoung saw me. All she did was to smirk at me. And then, she kissed Kai on the cheek.

I couldn't believe what I just saw. I thought Kai and I were almost going to be a couple? Argh, it's just my wild imagination that we could be a couple! Suddenly, Seyoung's words came to my mind:

Kai doesn't date girls directly . It's always the girl who asks him out and then they date! It's pretty impossible if he asks you out... probably it was a dare or something!

I chose to believe that Kai likes me somehow but I guess after seeing what happened , I guess I'm wrong. I believed that he likes me, but it turns out not. It was a one sided love.
