Fifteen: Realizations

Memories.

These eight lettered word that brings back things either of happiness or sadness. All in all, these things make you smile and laugh about. And also, it helps us reflect our little mistakes that help us become someone better.

As we think back of our memories, we fins ourselves reversing significant days and moments. Well, for Kai, he remembered the day Hyejin left him for America. But this wasn't the end? Or is it? But how did he fall for Hyejin? Let's go back room where they met....

Hyejin

"OMG. Is that Hyejin and Kai?! "

"What the heck is Hyejin doing with my Kai?"

"She seriously look like some cheap looking women, ew. "

I couldn't believe my ears. Those harsh comments it was then I decided to reject his proposal.

"Kai, I don't wanna be your girlfriend. " I blurted out.

"I guess you have to be. " His voice was strong and stern as he grabbed my wrist.

And the next thing, he hugged me.

"It's alright, let those girls continue the blabberings. You'll always be mine." He whispered softly.

My heart melted for real.

That was the first memory of them. When the proposal was made. So, I dare to conclude that Kai fell for her charms and Hyejin too.

It was meetings they had. First, Sungkyungkwan University shopping district. And then to many they ventured too. They stuck well together as scandals were exposed. They've been through thick and thin which brought a mutual feeling, pretty strong attraction.

Anyway, I guess I should go back to the story. See ya.

Hyejin

It has almost been a month or two here in Massachusetts. I met Yeonsoo, Kai's first true love.

She shared with me different stories and experiences she had with Kai. And something that I didn't know.

Sungjae lied.

Kai didn't lie, he wasn't possessive.

It was Sungjae who made Yeonsoo leave Kai. And nothing else. I blamed myself for shouting at him, it caused him a major heartbreak. And it was my fault.

Other than meeting Yeonsoo, I met Miyoung. The girl that Hwayoung brought up while at Hangang. Miyoung related to me about her stories. Kai is a good guy. He made sure that he takes care of his girlfriends well. She told me that Hwayoung tried to ruin their relationship too but it failed. So, she tried many incorrigible means to do it. But, she failed.

In all these realizations, it basically sums up one thing. Kai is a good guy,with a kind heart. He cares for the one he loves and he only wants trust. But, I lost his trust. In fact, I left him without knowing that he was the victim. I believed the lies but not the words from my boyfriend.

So, I booked a flight back to Seoul during my vacation. My parents wanted me to stay but I knew I had to go.

I remembered the first time we met. The most unusual way. From the time he magically appeared in front of my door, getting me time be his girlfriend. And now. We've been through a lot.
