"Aish my head." Kihyun mumbled and put his hand to his throbbing head. His arms hurt as well as his whole body. "Kihyunnie thank god you're awake." He heard beside him. "Mr. Kim relax please. Mr.Yoo can you open your eyes." Someone asked. Kihyun fluttered his eyes open and grunted in pain. Everyone in the room was relieved. He sat up with the help of his friend. "How are you feeling can you recall what happened." The nurse asked. "Ani. I don't remember anything. Wh-What day is it." He asked frantically. "Mr.Yoo it's Tuesday the 11th. You came in Saturday night about 7pm. You're mate brought you in. Sadly he's not here to know you're awake. Shall I call him."
Kihyun didn't know what she was talking about. "I-I don't have a mate. The last thing I remeber was when I went for a walk on the love path near the river. I-I usually do it on monday's." He sniffled. That means he forgot a whole week of memories. There was a knock on the door and it opened. A strange man appeared with flowers. "Wh-Who a-" The strangers scent smelt familiar. All of a sudden Kihyun's eyes turned yellow then back to normal. The alpha as well but instead of yellow his eyes turned red. "I-I remember meeting you." He wondered. His head started hurting and he felt nauseous. He covered his mouth and gagged. The nurse grabbed the trash from the bedside and gave it to Kihyun.
Instantly he vomited. His friend was asked to sit in the waiting room, he protested but still left including the alpha. "Nurse please explain." He begged gripping the trash. "That there was a sign that you met your alpha. Two signs showed meaning your bond will one day be very strong, and for why you are here. You met the alpha Saturday around 3 you panicked like anyother omega and ran. Passing the border and was caught in a ne-" "Th-They beat me up. An alpha and 3 betas. I begged them to let me go- th-they h-hurt me." He remembered and curled up into a ball. "Do you remember who saved you." Kihyun shook his head. "They beat me till I was unconscious. Th-That's all I remember." "I'm glad you're starting to remember. The week you forgot will come back. Your friends will help and so will your mate."
The omega nodded. He kinda remembered that day. All they did was torment him, rip his clothes and beat him. Nothing more and sadly nothing less. "Shall I send in your mate or a select 1 friend. In your condition you can only have one visitor. "M-My mate then." He knew his friends would be overbearing and he just wanted calmness. She nodded and left coming back with the stranger. "If you need anything hit the emergency button or get another nurse. My name is Jennie so call for me. They both nodded and watched her leave. Kihyun looked at the stranger then the bed side. Not knowing what to do or say. The vent above him was freezing and he got cold fast. He shivered and folded his arms hissing in pain at his ribs being soar.
"H-Here." The alpha whispered and took his hoodie off carefully putting it over the omega. Who had no time to protest. It was so warm and he melted into the smell of it. "W-Was that too forward." The alpha asked. "D-Did you want it." The omega nodded. "Th-Thank you." He mumbled. There was more awkward silence after that. "Ki-" "Wha-" They both said at the same time. "You first." The stranger pleaded. "Wh-What's your name." Kihyun wondered. "Hyunwoo. Sohn Hyunwoo. I'm the new alpha of the pack but you can call me Shownu. I'm the one who brought you here after you ran." He rubbed his arm and looked down ashamed. Kihyun realized it was wrapped. "D-Did they hurt you." Hyunwoo shook his head.
"I'm sorry I didn't get there fast enough to prevent you from getting hurt. Th-The scent was so strong. I couldn't think fast until it was covered in....b-blood. I didn't know what to do. Hoseok got me out of my thoughts. They should have picked him as alpha and not me." He stammered on and paced back and forth. "Thank you for saving me when you did. I was scared of what they were gonna do to me. Th-The looks on their faces." It still scared him and made goosebumps appear. "I killed them for what they did. Those mutts had it coming. Preying on omegas." The alpha growled in anger. Kihyun got up off the hospital bed and stumbled falling into the alphas chest. "Th-They took so many omegas. If you never came I would have been gone too."
Hyunwoo held onto Kihyun and took in his scent. "Please lay back down they broke a few of your ribs and fractured your leg." Hyunwoo asked. "I-I don't mean to make this sound weird but I don't want to let go." Kihyun bursted out in tears. "I-I'll sit next to the bed or stand right next to it but you must rest." Kihyun nodded and limped back to the bed. He felt tired but didn't want to put his guard down. "I'll be here so please sleep if you're tired. One of my pack members are right behind the door. He won't let anyone inside, and I'll be in here." The omega nodded and snuggled the alphas sweatshirt. Falling asleep instantly. Hyunwoo watched the younger and moved stray strands of hair out of his face. Such an innocent omega. Must have been so scared out there. One thing was for sure. He'd make sure Kihyun had guards or even himself making sure the omega was safe 24/7.
