Hyungwon woke up to his alpha sitting next to him. "Hoseokie." He yawned about to hug him but the alpha moved away. "I do all this to protect you and our pups. What do I get in return a mate smelling like some other wolf." Hyungwon was about to speak when one of the twins started crying. The omega picked her up and shushed her. "Jooheon was only watching over while I-" "Save it." Hoseok scoffed. The omega was scared and shaking his pups felt the discomfort and cried. "I haven't seen you in a week. Haven't slept over half of it. I was so fucking tired. I saw him walking down the hall. I asked him to watch the pups while I shower. He sat on the bed and watched over them. I walked out of the bathroom and he told me to get some sleep. Nothing happened." Hyungwon was angrily yelling at his mate. His alpha didn't even try and see him once all week and is now accusing such heartbreaking things.
"If you're so mad about the pups being near some other wolf come to the room once in a while." Hyungwon got off the bed and handed Minseok to Hoseok storming out of the room. He went down the hall and outside. Getting some fresh air for the first time in a while. "Meanie." He mumbled and walked around wiping his tears. Thankfully it was peaceful. Everyone minded their own business. "If you take a left then walk ten minutes there's a beautiful trail." He remembered what Kihyun told him before. When Kihyun was little he always walked the trail with his brother and cousin. So Hyungwon decided to go. Wanting to see how beautiful it really was. While he walked he hummed and yawned. Looking around and memorizing where he was going. It was beautiful. There were so many flowers. Along the trail Hyungwon bent down.
He picked a flower and smelt it, smiling. There was a russle besides a bush and he went to go investigate. "H-Hello" he called. He kept his distance and when the bush russled a lot he jumped at what popped out. "Awwww." He cooed. A bunny...Hoseok. He remembered the fight he had with his mate. "Come here bunny." He sighed and went to pick it up. "Watch out." He heard someone yell. Sadly Hyungwon wasn't fast enough and got hit. An arrow peirced through his chest and he flew backwards. The bunny ran off but the one who warned him was suddenly next to him. "Sir are you okay." The stranger was frantic. "Hyungwon." He heard his name get called. It sounded familiar. Jooheon perhaps. "Joonie take him to the hospital wing now. I'll be fine." "Ch-Changkyun." The hurt omega whispered. He coughed and had a metallic taste to it. Blood.
Instantly he was picked up and rushed to the mansion. Changkyun still had his crutches. Him and Jooheon decided to walk on the path, thankfully they had. "Is he gonna be okay." The stranger asked. "Wonwoo, Hoseok is gonna kill you." The omega sighed. The village was small, everyone knew everyone or at least their name. "Th-The second in command." He asked. "Yeah that there was his mate. I'm surprised he wasn't with Hoseok hyung or their pups." Changkyun mumbled. Maybe he had a little break from them. "P-Pups." Wonwoo gulped. The younger nodded. "So where should I sit at your funeral." The maknae asked. Wonwoo didn't know if the younger was kidding or not. "At least help me back to the mansion." He mumbled. Wonwoo nodded and put an arm around the youngers waist. Helping him walk with his crutch.
"Help!" Jooheon yelled as soon as he made it inside. Maids came and gasped frozen at the scene. An omega got shot with an arrow, he was bleeding badly. Hoseok appeared feeling his mate was hurt. Instantly he took the omega from the other alphas arms. "Wonnie." He gasped and moved stray hairs from the youngers face. "H-Hey bunny. Kinda wish I stayed instead of storming out during our fight." The younger swollowed hard tasting blood. The arrow still in his chest causing unbearable pain. "I-I'm cold." He gasped tears falling down from his eyes. "No, no, no." Hoseok yelled. Nurses came running with a strolling bed. "Hoseok we gotta take him into surgery now." "I'll be fine bunny. Take care of our puppies. Jooheon you and Changkyun will help him too right, and Kihyun." "Yes, but you're gonna make it. It's just a little hit, not that deep." He looked at the wound. The arrow went through his chest the sharp part sticking out from his back.
He reached up and cupped Hoseoks cheek shakily. "I love you." He whispered and his arm fell on his chest fainting. The nurses took Hyungwon and wheeled him into the emergency room. Hoseok wanted, needed to follow. Jooheon tried holding him back knowing if Hoseok got in the way his mate could have a bigger chance of dying. "Let go of me." He growled. "What's going on." They heard from up the stairs. Kihyun was behind Hyunwoo. He gasped at the blood on Jooheons shirt Hoseoks too. He could even smell it from far away. "What the fuck happened." Hyunwoo asked again. "Hyungwon was walking on the stone path. Changkyun and I were as well we didn't know Hyungwon was there until we saw him get hit by an arrow. Won-...a citizen apart of this pack was out hunting this morning. Bunnys to be exact. He found him." Jooheon explained what he hoped had happened. He too didn't know the full story.
"Why was he out there alone. I thought I made it clear that all omegas must be escorted by their mate or with a group." Hyunwoo snapped. "It's my fault if I hadn't...we fought. I went to my room and smelt Jooheon everywhere. I got mad and yelled at Hyungwon. He stormed out and I let him." Hoseok interrupted. He looked down ashamed. "Jooheon go to Changkyun. He needs the help getting back. You Hoseok will go back to your room and watch over Hyungwon and your pups. We know him he's strong and won't go without a fight. What happened was an ancident. End of story." "Bu-" "End of story." The alpha growled. Hoseok nodded and went to his room. Where his and his mates pups were. Jooheon was out the door the second Hyunwoo told him to leave. Kihyun was worried about the omega. Both omegas. Jooheon was only a beta.
How much could he protect him really. "Could I go to the trail. My little cousin might be in danger. I know the area more than anyone. I'll be safe." Hyunwoo held him close. "Jooheon will protect him. If you're really that worried Hoseok will escord you. I will stay and watch his pups." Kihyun nodded and they went to the alphas room. Knocking on the door. "Hoseok you will escord Kihyun to the scene. I will watch the pups." The younger alpha nodded and sighed. Knowing that Hyunwoo would do a good job of protecting them. Hyunwoo didn't like conflict so he was gonna make the two work together.

Kihyun and Hoseok both saw two bodies on the ground. They rushed over and saw Jooheon and Wonwoo. "Joonie." Kihyun shook him. Blood was dripping from the alphas head. "Ch-Changkyun." He gasped and looked around. Instantly he shifted into wolf form and ran into the woods. "Hoseok go with him. I'll stay behind." The older was hesitant. Knowing if he left Kihyun alone Hyunwoo would kill him. "Just go. I'll be fine. Go Hoseok." Kihyun yelled. Hoseok shifted quickly and followed the younger. "Wonwoo careful." He gasped and helped the beta sit up. "Wh-What happened." All of a sudden they heard a howel.
