"Ace University... the playground of teenage socialites and wanna-be-royalties." Derek answered Leila when she questioned him what he thought about their school.
"So... you don't like the university?" Leila sent in the chatbox.
"Well, I like the campus... I just don't like the people in it. Lol... why? Do you?" Said Derek.
"Actually, I couldn't care less. Hahaha :) I don't really observe the campus society. I just do what I want and go where my friends are :)" Leila answered, shrugging in front of her computer.
"Haha... cool then :) Umm... may I ask you a question?" Derek said.
"Well, you're already asking. Haha... sure. What is it?" Leila said, slowly getting comfortable to her new friend slash secret dream man.
"Okay... well... I just wanted to ask if you wanted to go on a date with me. It's been a few weeks since we met. And even through our first chat here on Fluffbook? I've already liked you." Leila read, shocked and frozen as a statue in front of her computer for minutes, slowly processing what she just read. "What... the... hell... did... he... just... ask me?" She thought, still not moving an inch.

"I'm sorry... I shouldn't have asked. You probably feel all awkward now... it's okay if you say no. Haha..." Derek continued.
"No-no... it's okay. I'm sorry... honestly, I was just processing what you just asked me. I'm sort of surprised you asked that kind of question to a girl like me... and confessing that you liked me from the start... so, yeah I got awkward but, that doesn't mean it's a no... haha... sure," She replied, chewing on her nails, waiting for an answer from Derek.
"Wow... seriously? Great! I was just planning on taking you to my competition, if that's okay with you... haha... and what do you mean by 'a girl like me'?" Derek replied.
"Your competition? Awesome! I would love to go! Just text me when and where ;) Well... a girl like me... awkward, geeky, clumsy... should I go on? Haha" Leila replied.
"No, let me continue that for you. A girl like you? You mean a girl that's beautiful inside and out, rare, cute... a gamer like me... an attractive lady going to the same school as I am? Should I go on? :)" He replied, leaving Leila all red and silent again in front of her computer until she finally got back her ability to reply.
"I... don't know what to say... thank you. Haha... I should probably go to sleep. I'm sorry... see you soon. Just inform me about your competition... goodnight." She sent, quickly logging out and turning off her computer, not bothering to wait for Derek's reply.
"Sigh. What just happened? Is he flirting with me now? And he... confessed... didn't he? He told me all these things... and now my heart..." She said to herself as she lied down and felt her heart race, before finally falling asleep.

Leila pushed open the entrance doors and entered the university. She looked around, letting out a deep breath as she realized that she's already gotten accustomed to the nature of the institution. She walked to her locker, opening it, pushing her backpack inside and finally getting her binder notebook.
"Sigh. I don't feel like studying today... I feel so lazy" She spoke to herself.
"Then come with me. Let's eat somewhere!" She heard behind her, making her surprised that someone heard her. She then felt a tap on her shoulder making her turn around and look at the dazzling blue eyes that made her heart skip a beat.
"Derek. Hi... you were listening to me talking to myself. Haha... great..." She said, looking at the ground, blowing on the hair falling to her face.
"You look cute today. Like a cute tomboy" He said laughing. This was the first time that Leila heard his laugh. It was so heartfelt, but had a touch that made you laugh at it more than the joke.
"Okay... sure... laugh at my outfit. I rarely wear dresses, okay? I just wore it that one time so my friend won't be disappointed." She said, smirking. "And about that 'skipping class to eat with you' thing..." She added. "I can't. I don't want to skip class," Leila continued, letting out an awkward laugh.
"Oh, come on! Live a little. Your classroom won't go anywhere... you could sneak in after eating with me if you'd like. It'll just take around 15 minutes." He said, poking Leila's arm and looking in her eyes with puppy dog ones. This made Leila speechless, staring at his blue puppy dog orbs, making her paralyzed.
"Leila? Earth to Leila?" Derek waved in front of her face.
"Oh... right. Umm..." Leila replied, losing her words. "Alright... as long as I get to my class after 15 minutes, as you promised." She continued.
"Of course! I never break my word. Come on," He said, pulling her wrist and dragging her to outside the university. Little did they know that Jacob was watching them intently, right after they stared into each others' eyes. He didn't know why but his blood boiled when he saw the douchebag of the campus taking Leila's wrist, dragging her outside.
"Now, where the fuck are they going?" He said to himself, staring at the college doors as they closed after Leila and Derek went through.
