When the three arrived at Heathers house, El quickly opened the door with her powers. Clove entered first with the other two close behind her. They heard talking and followed the sound, Clove heard Billy's familiar voice.

"This is her house" Max said as they looked at the picture of Heather and her parents on the wall

"What?" El asked in confusion

"Heathers house" Clove confirmed for her before a loud laugh caused them to jump. The three began to follow the sound again. The girls quickly rounded the corner to see Billy and Heathers parents laughing at the table

"Max" Billy said as he saw the girl in yellow standing in the middle of the girls

"We didn't mean to barge in, we tried to knock but maybe you didn't hear us over the storm" Max said as Clove rocked akwardly on her heels

"You've got a lovely home" Clove said to hopefully ease the tension as the woman gave her a small smile

"I'm sorry who is this dripping all over my living room right now?" Heathers father asked in confusion as he eyed the three girls

"I'm sorry. Jannit, Tom, this is my sister Maxine" Billy said as he stood up and walked toward them

"Oh and of course her.... friend Clover" Billy smiled as he saw the smaller girl next to Max

"Oh" Jannit smiled at them

"What on earth are you doing here? Is something wrong?" Billy asked in a oddly nice tone of voice, making Clove push closer to Max's side

"We just wanted to make sure everything was okay" Max said as he looked up at her step brother with a look of confusion

"Okay? Why wouldn't it be okay?" Billy asked with a smile

"Where is she?" El demanded causing Clove to slap her head at the girls bluntness

"I'm sorry, where is who?" Billy asked her as he hesitated for a moment

"Well they're a little burnt i'm sorry" Heather said as she walked into the kitchen with a smile

"Heather, this is my sister Maxine, her friend Clover, and i'm sorry but I did not catch your name" Billy shook his head as he looked down at El

"El" she said with a small glare up at him

"El, and what was it you were saying? You were looking for somebody?" he asked as his tone changed to a bit darker, causing Max and Clove to share a look

"I-i-i saw y-" El began as she faced Heather

"Your manager!" Clove pipped in in a much louder tone then she intended

"He said you guys didn't come into work today so we got worried" Max added in to her girlfriends statement as Clove nodded in agreement

"Heather wasn't feeling so hot today so we thought we'd take the day off to nurse her back to health. But you're feeling just fine now, aren't you Heather?" Billy said as he grinned over at the girl

"I'm feeling so much better, do you girls want a cookie?" Heather smiled at the three

"Oh we're okay tha-" Max began but was cut off

"Sure i'd love a cookie" Clove smiled as she walked forward and grabbed two off the pan as Max sighed

"Are you sure you don't wanna come back with us?" Max yelled over the rain toward Clove after they left the house

"I'm sure! I've gotta get home and apologize to my Mom!" Clove shouted back

"Call you in the morning?" El asked as Clove nodded as she hugged El then moved to Max, when the two pulled away Max looked around to make sure no one was looking before she quickly pressed a small peck to Cloves lips and with that the three went in their opposite directions

"Mom? Are you here?" Clove asked as she walked into the house

"Hey baby, Moms in the shower" Levan smiled at her from the couch

"Oh okay" Clove nodded and she pulled off her rain coat

"How you feeling?" he asked while patting the space next to him where she smiled and sat down at

"I'm okay" Clove nodded, dumb liar

"Humm, is it just me or is your nose getting longer?" Leaven asked as Clove frowned her eyebrows before Levan started poking at her nose

"Dad, stop" Clove laughed while pushing his hands away

"What's really going on kiddo?" he asked as Clove sighed

"I still feel kinda weird" Clove shrugged as he nodded

"You probably will for a while, what happened was pretty traumatizing... your mind is still trying to shake the feeling off" Levan said as she laid her head on his shoulder

"I said some pretty mean stuff to Mom too, I didn't mean it, I was just mad" Clove said as he pressed a kiss to her forehead

"I know, she does too. Moms just worried about you, that's all. She hasn't realized how grown up you are and how capable you have turned out to be. You've just got give her time, okay?" Levan asked as Clove nodded and shut her eyes

Clove was standing in a dark street with the grounds wet from the rain, she was breathing heavy

"Hello?" she called out loudly as she heard odd slithering voices coming from around her. Clove walked over to a small building and pushed through the open doors

"Hello?" she asked again before turned the corner and gasping loudly, seeing people on the floor with their eyes darkened and bodies seemed weak

"Clove, you've finally found your way" Billy smiled at her as he approached her

"Billy.. what did you do?" she asked as her eyes weld with tears, eyeing the bodies

"Oh, that's what you're here to find out Clover. What a honor it is to have you with us" he said before taking a step back before Clove took a deep breath and went to run off before a large clunk of gue flew through the air and pinned her to the ground. Clove let out a loud scream as she tried to get away but the monster connecting its self to the middle of her stomach, causing Clove to cry out as she felt the weird sensation all through her body again as the outline of her eyes turned a purplish black

Clove sat up with a gasp, she felt around her body and didn't feel anything unusual. She told herself it was only a dream but something in the back of her mind was telling her otherwise. Clove jumped as she heard Mikes voice come through on her walkie

"Clove! Clove do you copy? This is a code red!" Mike yelled as Clove sighed and grabbed it off her nightstand

"Jesus Mike, it's still early and i'm still mad at you" Clove rolled her eyes

"I know, I know and we'll talk soon but you need to get here. It's important, please I can't do this without you" Mike said as Clove sighed... as much as she was over Mike's attitude lately, she still clung to how close they use to be when El was missing. And it wasn't that Clove didn't want El back, because that's all Clove truly wanted in the world, but she also couldn't help but miss how her and Mike once were

"I'm on my way, over and out" she said before turning her walkie off and standing up to get out of her bed before falling over with a thud. Clove groaned as she felt a small pang in her stomach area, she slowly lifted her shirt to see a small mark along the middle of her stomach. Clove frowned her eyebrows as she felt around, it seemed to have a weird moving feeling but she didn't realize it until she put her hand there. The girl sighed and just shrugged it off, thinking she was just bloated. After pulling a mint and purple plaid skirt on, she paired it with a white tank top and headed off toward her friends, only being able to hope they were all okay
