I walked to the door of my room.

“I'm going home.”  I walked away from the door.

“Sir!” The doctor came out to hall after me. “ You can’t!”

I turned around and grabbed the doctor by the collar of his scrubs. “I'm fucking going home!” I looked at the tag on his smock and read his last name. “Looks doctor Stevens! My shoulder is broken and my head is cracked, I know that! So just get me any fucking meds I need! Show my mom how to use any splints, or wraps or what the hell ever! But right now for my own mental heath I'm going the fuck home!”

The doctor nodded at me fearfully and I let him go. I walked out of the hospital and realised I had no way home. “I'll fucking walk then.” I yelled to my self.

“No youre not!” I spun around and Palla and Matt were standing there.

“Oh. Sorry I didn't see you fallow me.” I looked at them.

“Come on Ray,” Palla pleaded. “Youre a mess lets have a sleep over, just to make sure you're ok.”

“I.”

“No ifs ands or buts!” Matt cut me off.

“Well maybe you're cute butts.” Palla chimed in.

“Ha! butts!” Matt laffed. “You think we both have cute butts!”

I laffed back. “Oh my god Matt.”

“I never! I didn't!” Palla studdard. “Whatever.”

“Grape juice!” I shouted.

Both Matt and I fell to our knees laughing. Palla shrugged and rolled her eyes.

We all got into Matts car and drove to Pizza life. We dropped off Palla to get her car and make a new pizza. I looked over to the window and saw the pizza splatters all over it. Before we left, Palla drew a smiley face in the splatter and wavd to us. Next stop was back to the boardwalk for my car. When we got there it was just my car in the lot. The board walk was closed and all the lights were off. It was dead silent. I look ed up and saw the stars shimmer above me. The moon glistened off the fall leaves as they blew threw the chilly november wind. It was cold, but I love the cold. I had put my shirt back on in the car. Looking back I don't think walking out of the hospital without my shirt was a good idea. My shoulder wrap crossed my chest and my waist and I assume The bit of rain was a bad thing for my shoulder. But I think its ok, the cold air helps sooth the swelling I feel coming back. I step out of the car and take a deep breath of the cool november air. Crisp, cool, and clean. Thats the three C’s of this night air. I slowly walk over to my car and pop the trunk. I grab two cans of Mountain Dew. I toss one to Matt and he just barely catches it. We lean on the hood of my car and drink the cans in about five minutes. Nothing was said, just Matt and I standing by my car drinking cans of pop in the middle of an empty parking lot. We get in our own cars and drive back to my place. Palla was sitting on the sidewalk of the apartment building by the time Matt and I arrived. Ok so maybe we spent more than five minutes drinking cans of pop. I'll just admit it, we drank an entire sixteen case of Mountain Dew cans. Some were slashed on our head others just kicked as far as possible down the parking lot. We walked in and walked to my apartment. Palla sat the new pizza down on the coffee table by my couch. We all sat on the couch and dug in!

Palla moved around on the couch and got up. She grabbed a pillow off my bed and tossed it on the couch. after sitting on it she moved around a bit and smiled. “Much better!” She declared.

“Hay!” I protested. “I sleep on that!”

“Its coffy! Try it.” Palla stood up and patted the butt pillow.
