I left The Silly Soup Server, and decided to go to the board walk again. I got in my car and started driving across town. Red light. I kept going after it changed. Red light. Ok this makes me mad. We are a small town, there is only three red lights in the town on the main road. Red light. I thought I saw something tho. A black shadow, and a reflection, like a polished piece of metal. If hovered over the green light then vanished after it turned red. I followed my instructions and remembered what my teacher said four years ago “Red lights mean stop if you safely can.” I looked back and saw a semi. I can get away with it. I ran the red light. I looked back and the semi-truck had plowed into the intersection and caused a wreck of three cars, one on each side and one that was on coming.

A voice came to me. “Hes here.” Madam Kindrie.

I blinked and I was at the boardwalk. I don't under stand. It was at least three minutes of driving and over five turns! what happened? I was a blink and I was there.

I got out of the car and walked for the boardwalk. I stepped thru the gate and fell to my knees. I felt like a heart, my whole body pulsed rapidly! My eyes blinded me with light, my ears started to bleed with a scream of a hundred people dieing!

It stopped.

Everything was over in a second. I stood back up and looked around. Everything was normal. The sun was behind me, a nice sunrise.

Something silver shined from the ground. I reached down for it thinking it was a coin and saw it was my shadow. All you could see was a smile on my shadow. My eyes were white and I had a toothy grin.

The shadow looked at me and frowned.

The shadow disappeared!

I looked for the shadow all across the boardwalk. There was nothing. I wandered the boardwalk thinking about what I heard from Madam Kindrie and the shadow. Who's here? What does the shadow want with me? What is the shadow?

“Ah hello comrade!” I heard in the distance. It was him. “You come play game?”

It was the russian man from the bell game standing there by his game.

He looked at me with concern. “Where is lady friend?” He asked.

“Home.” I replied. “Shes not supposed to go out much.”

“Sorry to hear comrade.” He patted his chest. “Here we make happy! Play, no charge!”

“I don't know if I want to.”

“No cents!” He shouted “You must! Build character, release anger, become stronger!”

“Are you saying I'm weak!” I shouted back

“No, game determines.” He handed me the hammer.

“Whatever.” I took the hammer and dropped it on the game.

The I rolled my eyes and looked where it landed.

“You are weak!”

I was going to brake. “I'm not weak!” I slammed the hammer back down on the lever and the peg shot up to the bell and left dent in the bottom of the bell. The ringer was stuck and I could see it. Anger. ‘A’.

The man started to freak out in russian. I backed up. The shadow appeared in place of the russian man shadow.

“Ah! Heart!” The man fell to his knees and stopped. Every part of him was stopped.

“Some one call 911!” I yelled.

“Go!” It was Madam Kindrie. “Grab the shard and go!”
