By the time we came up behind our target, the sun was beginning to rise. Dom and Vince we in front. Then me, then Leon, and Letty was the rear. None of us would say it, but we all still felt that something was off, even Dom. But it was go time, nothing could be done know.

Dom took off, and sped up the left side of the semi. I shifted right with Leon, while Letty followed up on the left. "Okay, go time!" Came Dom's voice over the radio. Dom pulled in front and the semi's horn blared. "We're all good, man. I got nothing on the scanners" said Leon. "Keep going." A few minutes later, the semi swerved to the right, myself swerving with it to keep from getting hit.
"He's got a Damn shotgun! Leon!" Dom yelled
"Back off! Back off! Get him off of there!"
Dom pulled up right beside the semi, lined up with Vince. He stuck his arm out the window, leaning out as far as he could. Vince reached out, but couldn't make the jump. The driver stuck his arm out the window, and shot out Dom's left tail light. "Dom! I'm pulling up to distract him!" Letty said coming up on the drivers left. I pulled around Dom and came straight in front of the semi. "Come on, baby. Shot doesn't get better than this" I said. And he must have read my mind, because two seconds later my back windshield was blown into pieces. "Son of a bitch!" I shouted ducking down to avoid the shards of glass. Suddenly, the driver hit his brakes causing Vince to fly backwards, then slamming into the passenger side of the truck. He shot again, barely missing Vince's head. He shot once more, hitting Dom's front tire. "Dom! Move out of the way, I'm coming to get him!" Letty shouted. He swerved into her, causing Letty to go off the road, she flipped twice and landed upside down in the ditch. "Leon! Pull back for Letty! Get her out of there!" Dom said. "I'm on it! Go!" Leon pulled a u-turn a sped away to save Letty. "I've got her! You get Vince off that truck."
The driver shot again. I saw blood splatter as he hit Vince in the side. Dom reaches his hand out for Vince. Vince grabbed Dom's hand, when the driver shot through Dom's hood. He smacked his steering knowing that he couldn't do anything. His car sputtered to a stop on the side of the road. "Nina! Stay in front of him! Brian's here!" Dom shouted at me over the radio. I looked in my mirror and saw Brian drive up next to the truck. Vince threw his hand out to him in desperation. Brian stood up and hopped over onto the truck. He grabbed Vince's left arm and wrapped it around him. He held on to Vince as he unwrapped the wire from around his arm. I stayed in front making sure he couldn't speed up. I looked back and saw that Vince was off the truck. He was climbing into the passenger seat of Brian's car. Glass sprayed through the air, the shotgun shell narrowly missing Brian as he jumped onto the car as well. Knowing everyone was clear, Mia and I both swerved to the right and onto the side of the road. The three of us grabbed Vince and gently laid him on the ground. Leon pulled up next to our car and Dom ran over to us. Brian pulled of his belt wrapped it around the top of Vince's left arm. "Come on, Vince! Hang in there! Come on!" Brian shouted. Mia put pressure on his gunshot, and I held his head in my hands trying to calm him down. Dom kneeled next to us trying to stop the bleeding. "If we don't get him to an ambulance in ten minutes, he's dead" Brian said looking up at Dom. "Hold this. Hold the pressure. Don't let go." Brian told Mia. "I got it" she assured him. "Vince it's okay" I told him as he looked up at me. Brian pulled of his phone and dialed 911. "Yeah. Yeah, this is Officer Brian O'Conner" he started. Dom's head shot up. All along, Vince was right. "I'm off duty M.A.P.D. I need a life flight roll out right away. My twenty is, uh, Highway 86, mile marker 147. I got one trauma victim, about 24 years of age."
"Dom not now. This is about keeping Vince alive" I begged him. "Six foot, maybe 200 pounds. He's got a real deep laceration to his right arm, with arterial bleeding. And he's got a shotgun wound. Close range to his left flank. Yeah. And he's going into shock!" Brain yelled throwing down the phone.

As the helicopter approached, Dom stood Mia and I up and walked us back to the car. Halfway there, Mia stopped to look back at Brian. My heart aches for her. I know she loved him, and not only did she just get her heart broken, but she was lied to. It was all fake. He just wanted to get closer to us. After a few yells from Dom we turned around and headed towards us. She climbed into the back with Letty and I. I put my arm around her and she turned her head into my shoulder and started to cry. Dom climbed into the passenger seat, and Leon started to drive home.
