"Why would he do that? Why would Vince play us like that?" I asked Dom while Brian looked at the chip. Thanks to Vince's royal screw up, we now knew what they were after. . That's the plus side of this situation. On the other side, Vince betrayed us. And believe me, I know how dramatic that sounds, but I could have said he committed treason. Whatever way you look at it, Vince was wrong, and now he's gone. 

"I don't know why he did it Nina, but he shouldn't have." Dom said.

"What's gonna happen now?" I asked him. Dom took a deep breath. He seemed to be thinking about it. 

"I-" 

 "Dom, Nina, come look at this!" Brian cut him off. "Look at that. Same building, same order every week" Brian told us, pointing to the screen.

"It's a delivery schedule." Dom said.

"What's this?" Mia asked clicking on the screen. "Drugs?"

"No, that's a dealer pack." Brian said looking to us. Seeing our confused faces, he continued, "See, most major players, they weigh their money so they don't have to constantly count it. Right there, that's 49 kilos, which is a million in twenties."

"So, you're saying each one of these shipments is worth 20 million dollars?" I asked him.

"Yeah. So what is that? A 100-million plus in cash houses?" 

"That's how he keeps it off the grid" Dom said.

"I think it's safe to say Reyes is smart to want this back. It's his whole network right there, just laid out on a chip." Right as Brian finished his sentence, we heard glass shatter from somewhere near the garage.

"That was right outside" I said.

"Out the windows. You three, go now!" Dom said pushing us forward. The three of us hit the ground the second they burst through the doors. They fired instantly, trying desperately to hit us. I shoved Mia forward getting her to run. The favelas were like a damn maze, and every corner we turned, there was another guy. We ran down the stairs and Brian kicked a gate open taking down one of the men. "Go, go go!" He shouted pushing us forward as he dealt with two others. I grabbed Mia's arm and turned the corner, unfortunately that turned out to lead us straight to three gunmen.  I shoved her away from me and run for cover. They were now between Brian and Mia, and me.

"GO!" I yelled to them. "I'll find a way around!" Of course, with my luck, that was just wishful thinking. See, when your back is up against a wall, literally, there's not really a way around it. The men started to move closer, realizing that I wasn't going anywhere. Suddenly, a man jumped out of nowhere and slammed into them. He punched one in the face, and used his gun to take out another. He slammed his elbow into the face of the first man, and broke the last ones neck. 

He quickly turned to me and pulled out his gun. I put my hands up, praying to God he didn't shoot me where I stood.

"Get down on your knees, Toretto. You're under arrest." He told me. We both stood still, waiting to see who moved first.

"Why can't guys ever make the first move?" I joked.

"Funny" he said giving me a sarcastic smile. Before either of us made another move, two more guys rounded the corner. Without thinking, I dove towards the cop, shoving him out of the way of the gunfire. We both hit the ground with a thud. He quickly grabbed my arms, and slammed me up against the wall, shielding me from the bullets. He turned pulling out his gun and firing back. I took this as my chance to get away. I shoved my foot into his knee, knocking him to the ground, kicking his gun out of his hand. I quickly turned and ran the other way, hoping to catch up with someone.

Dom, Mia, Brian and I walked out of the drainage pipe into a small opening.

"They're going to be looking for the four of us together now. We need to split up." Dom said checking our surroundings. When it looked clear, he turned to the three of us. "You and the girls head south, I'll lead them away."

"No." Mia interjected.

"Dom's right. Look how lucky we just got. What happens next time? We have no choice but to split up." Brian argued.

"I'm pregnant." Mia said looking at all of us. "I already lost my family once. I'm not going through that again."

"Are you kidding me?" Brian asked grabbing her arm.

"No." She laughed. "I'm not going anywhere. Okay?" He said kissing her.

"Dom?" I asked. "Promise us we stick together." I said holding Mia's hand. 

"I promise." He said walking towards us. He wrapped his arms around all of us. "Our family just got bigger" He laughed. 

"I can't believe you didn't tell me" I whispered to Mia. 

"There hasn't exactly been a good time" She told me with a smirk.

"Come on. We should find a place to lie low for night." Dom said pulling away from us. "We need to get away from here."

"Let's run through the bases real quick. Who do we got?" Brian asked trying to nail down our plan.

"First, we're gonna need a chameleon. Someone who can blend in anywhere." Dom answered.

"What else?" Mia asked. "A fast talker. Someone who can bullshit their way out of anything."

"I got that." Brian said smiling to himself.

"This guy's gonna have a lot of surveillance. We're going to need someone who's good with circuits." Mia added. 

"And with those circuits, Reyes is going to have walls. We need guys to punch through those walls." I said.

"Utilities and weapons. Someone who ain't afraid to throw down. Someone to back up every position."

"Yeah, what else do we need?" Brian asked.

"Most importantly, we're gonna need three precision drivers." Dom said holding up his fingers. "Guys that don't crack under pressure. Guys that never lose."

"You know we got that!" Brian said looking at me.
