The rest of Friday and Saturday had gone by in a blur for Denji.

The teen had told his parents of his plans, and his mistake, which had admittedly gotten him in a bit of trouble, but Senjo had been happy to hear that Denji was making friends and plans. Raijin was being paranoid, but he still showed support and was glad that his child was getting along with the kids in school.

When the time had come around on Saturday, Senjo had been out on a job. Denji knew what his fathers did for a living, but this wasn't that kind of job. Senjo was also part time jobs that he worked on the weekends to help pay the bills, which left Denji with Raijin, who wasn't in the best of moods.

Even so, Denji hadn't caught that and hugged his dad goodbye before rushing out the door with his satchel, of which he'd stolen from Senjo. The day was crips and cool, perfect for training in. The teen couldn't help it as he raced down the sidewalk to the park that he, Kemuri, and Shitsumei had agreed upon.

The wind whipped his messy hair into a more disastrous mess as he ran and dodged other pedestrians on the sidewalks, ideas racing through his head as quickly as he ran down the streets.

A gleeful laugh escaped him as he took a sharp turn and the park came into his sights. He could see the outline of his two friends, who were there before him. Of course, for him, the time to leave was accidently late because he didn't wake up until thirty minutes before that moment.

"I'm here!" called Denji as he came up to the park entrance, panting as greeted both of his friends. Kemuri giggled softly as Shitsumei covered his grin of amusement, "What? I woke up thirty minutes ago! I'm not good at waking up on the weekend!"

This only elicited more laughter from his friends, and Denji couldn't help but laugh along with them. "Oh hush you two!" Denji insisted, playfully glaring.

The two got quiet and Denji stood up straight. "Alright, so how long so we have?" he asked, wanting to make sure he had everything in line.

"I've got two hours before I've gotta be home," Kemuri answered quickly.

Denji nodded in understanding and looked at Shitsumei, "I'm fine with whatever time, I'll just need to call Mom once we're done and I'll need you to wait with me until she gets here."

Again, the male nodded, "Alright then! We got our plans set then. We should find a shady area, for Shitsu," he suggested thoughtfully. Shitsumei nodded in agreement, as did Kemuri, and Denji nodded. "Great! Let's go!"

The three set out into the park, Shitsumei holding onto Denji's shoulder as they talked amongst themselves. Denji was happy and calm as he walked, and eventually, Kemuri pointed out a nice, shady area by a shallow pond.

"Here! This looks like a nice place, doesn't it?" She looked at Denji as she spoke, tilting her head curiously. Denji couldn't help but stare for a moment before his other friend shook his shoulder and he cleared his throat, nodding a bit.

He gave an awkward cough. "Uh..yeah! This is perfect, actually," stammered Denji as he tapped Shitsumei's hand. The other male let go of his shoulder and took a seat.

"So, what did you have planned for today?" the seated male asked, blind eyes focused straight forward as Kemuri came to sit in front of him.

That's where Denji paused and plopped down right next to Shitsumei. "Well, I didn't exactly know what to do. We all three had extremely different quirks..so I was going to ask you guys what we should do."

The other two were quiet for a moment before Shitsumei spoke up, pulling his satchel, of which he had the entire time, in front of him. "Mom gave me some things. Not for myself, but I told her about Kemuri's quirk. We could do physical training..and," as Shitsumei spoke, he pulled out what looked like a long, white scarf, "she told me to give this to you."

Kemuri reached out as the blind male handed the scarf out. "What is it?"

"An capture weapon."

"Wait, really?"

Shitsumei nodded, "Yeah. She said you could add it to your hero costume and add it to your equipment before the tournament..so you're not relying purely on your quirk."

Kemuri grinned and wrapped the capture weapon around her neck, watching the other two. Denji smiled and nodded a bit, jumping up, "Then physical training it is," he decided, nodding as he helped his blind friend up. The other stood up as well, shooting the boys a smile and giggling.

"Let's go," Kemuri said, smiling and grabbing both Shitsumei's and Denji's hands.

She dragged the two forward and the three of them laughed. The rest of that afternoon was spent training between the three of them. They didn't really stay on course or stick on track, laughing and joking. Shitsumei helped Kemuri with the capture weapon, Denji helped the both of them with physical fighting, and Kemuri made them laugh by goofing around with them.

By the time three came around, the three teens were out of breath and happy. Kemuri had to check the time then, laughing, "Well, I've gotta go now. I'll see ya guys Monday!" exclaimed as she waved before turning and running off.

Denji and Shitsumei waved back, both laughing and chuckling in their own way. Denji then turned to Shitsumei, "You should call your Mom, too. I'll wait with you." Shitsumei nodded, already having a clicker out. Denji raised an eyebrow but made no question as his friend grabbed his shoulder and put it in his pocket once more.

"Let's go to the gate, she'll meet us there," said the male, smiling a bit. Denji nodded a bit, stretching his arms out before he started to head that way. The two boys were quiet, and he didn't mind that. It was a comfortable silence, the breeze and sounds of nature being the only thing to break that silence.

It took them no time to get to the gate of the park, and there, the two were met with a woman in a hoodie. Denji stopped in his tracks, tilting his head as the woman waved.

"Over here, Shitsumei!"

The male relaxed a little bit and sighed a bit. He realized that this was his friend's other mother, and he continued with his friend holding onto his shoulder. Denji watched her, noticing her black shaved hair, piercing blue eyes, and burns. It hit him then that this was the villain known as Kagami, Shitsumei's villain mother.

Once close enough, Shitsumei stepped forward and Kagami took her son's hand, placing it on her shoulder instead. "Hey, Mom."

"Hey, is this your friend?"

Shitsumei nodded and gestured to Denji. "Yes, this is Denji. Sorry you couldn't mean Kemuri, she had to go home early."

Kagami chuckled softly, nodding a little. "It's alright." She then looked over to Denji, looking over him. "You look a lot like your dads. It's nice to meet you." She held out her hand, and Denji took it respectfully. "I've heard a lot about you."

Denji pulled back his hands and rubbed the back of his neck, "Really?" He got a nod in response. "Well, it's nice to meet you too.." he added, smiling and dropping his hand to his side.

Shitsumei cleared his throat, "Mom, Mama paged me..she's wondering where we are."

Kagami looked at her son before looking back at Denji, "That's our cue to go. Tell Senjo and Denji I say hi."

Denji nodded a bit, watching them go. "See ya, Denji!"

"Bye, Shitsu!"

After he watched them go, he started to head home as well. Denji was tired, but he'd had fun that day.

Denji had no idea what he was in for when he got home.
